Hi, could you help me, as a very beginner knitter, to understand the the instruction around casting off for the sleeves? In the back piece instructions it says: 'bind off for armholes each side on every other row as follows: 3 sts 1-1-1-2-2-2 times, 2 sts 1-2-3-3-5-6 times and 1 st 2-2-3-3-3-5 times = 64-66-68-70-72-74 sts. ' - does 'every other row' mean alternate rows? Do I cast off by knitting together first 3 stitches, then 2 stitches, and finally 1 stitch at a time?
07.09.2021 - 16:27DROPS Design answered:
Dear Helen, "every other row means eversy second row. You start casting off 3 stitches, then cast off 2 stitches, etc. Happy Knitting!

Hei Mira.

Bon tricot!

Hello, I would like to knit this garment using just one color. How many yarns should I use for a size of L?
05.11.2014 - 10:25DROPS Design answered:
Dear Atha, you can calculate the total of all colours required for your size, you will probably use a bit less - remember you can ask your DROPS Store for any individual assistance. Happy knitting!

I have cast on and have completed the garter stitch hem ad done 12 rows in stocking stitch. But the garter hem seems to flip up and I'm worried this will happen when I wear the garment.nDo you have any advice? PS Fabel is a very interesting range and offers so many creative options. Am taking my yarn to my knitting group tonight. Why don't you have a Drops flagship store in London - I'm sure this would work well as your price is so reasonable.
