Come devo regolarmi? Grazie

Wo kommen denn die Knopflöcher hin?
21.04.2024 - 12:02DROPS Design answered:

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- GARTER STITCH (worked back and forth): Knit all rows. 1 ridge = knit 2 rows. RAGLAN: All increases are worked from the right side! Increase 1 stitch on each side of all markers as follows: Work until there is 1 stitch left before the marker, make 1 yarn over, knit 2 (marker sits between these 2 stitches), 1 yarn over. On the next row (wrong side) work the yarn overs twisted as follows: BEFORE MARKER: Purl the back loop (the new stitch twists to the right seen from the right side). AFTER MARKER: Slip the yarn over as if to knit and replace it on the left needle the other way round (twisted), purl the front loop. The new stitch twists to the left seen from the right side. Work the new stitches in stocking stitch. DECREASE TIP (for sleeves): Decrease 1 stitch on either side of the marker as follows: Work until there are 3 stitches left before the marker, knit 2 together, knit 2 (marker sits between these 2 stitches), slip 1 stitch knit-wise, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch. BUTTONHOLES: Work buttonholes on the right band (when the garment is worn). Work from the right side when there are 3 stitches left on the row as follows: Make 1 yarn over, knit 2 together and knit 1. On the next row (wrong side), knit the yarn over to leave a hole. The first buttonhole is worked when the rib on the neck measures 1½-2 cm. Then work the other 4-4-4-4 (5) buttonholes with approx. 5-6-6½-7 (6½) cm between each one. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- JACKET – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE. The neck and yoke are worked back and forth with circular needle, top down. The yoke is divided for body and sleeves and the body continued back and forth. The sleeves are worked in the round with double pointed needles. NECK: Cast on 64-68-72-76 (80) stitches with circular needle size 3 mm and DROPS Merino Extra Fine. Purl 1 row from the wrong side with 5 band stitches in GARTER STITCH – read description above, on each side. Work rib as follows: 5 band stitches in garter stitch, * knit 2, purl 2 *, work from *-* until there are 7 stitches left, knit 2 and 5 band stitches in garter stitch. Work this rib for 2 cm. Remember the BUTTONHOLES – read description above. Change to circular needle size 4 mm. Insert 1 marker after the band at the beginning of the row; the yoke is measured from this marker! YOKE: Insert 4 more markers, without working the stitches and each inserted between 2 stitches: Count 14-15-16-17 (18) stitches (front piece), insert 1 marker, count 8 stitches (sleeve), insert 1 marker, count 20-22-24-26 (28) stitches (back piece), insert 1 marker, count 8 stitches (sleeve), insert 1 marker. There are 14-15-16-17 (18) stitches left after the last marker. On the next row from the right side, increase 2 stitches at each marker – read RAGLAN. Increase like this on each row from the right side a total of 11-13-14-15 (17) times = 152-172-184-196 (216) stitches. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When the increases are finished continue with stocking stitch and 5 band stitches in garter stitch on each side until the yoke measures 9-10-11-12 (13) cm from the marker by the neck. Divide for the body and sleeves as follows: Work 5 band stitches in garter stitch, 19-22-24-26 (29) stocking stitches, place the next 32-36-38-40 (44) stitches on 1 thread for the sleeve, cast on 6-6-8-8 (6) stitches under the sleeve, work 40-46-50-54 (60) stocking stitches, place the next 32-36-38-40 (44) stitches on 1 thread for the sleeve, cast on 6-6-8-8 (6) stitches under the sleeve, work 19-22-24-26 (29) stocking stitches and 5 band stitches in garter stitch. BODY: = 100-112-124-132 (140) stitches. Continue with stocking stitch and 5 band stitches in garter stitch on each side for a further 10-13-14-16 (18) cm. Now increase 12-12-16-16 (16) stitches evenly on the next row from the right side (do not increase over the bands) = 112-124-140-148 (156) stitches. Change to circular needle size 3 mm. Work rib as follows, starting from the wrong side: 5 band stitches in garter stitch, * purl 2, knit 2 *, work from *-* until there are 7 stitches left, purl 2 and 5 band stitches in garter stitch. Cast off when the rib measures 3 cm. The jacket measures approx. 24-28-30-33 (36) cm from the shoulder. SLEEVES: Place the 32-36-38-40 (44) stitches from the thread on the one side of the piece on double pointed needles size 4 mm and knit up 1 stitch in each of the 6-6-8-8 (6) stitches cast on under the sleeve = 38-42-46-48 (50) stitches. Insert a marker in the middle of the new stitches under the sleeve. Start at this marker (mid-under sleeve) and work stocking stitch in the round. When the sleeve measures 2 cm, decrease 1 stitch on each side of the marker – read DECREASE TIP. Decrease like this every 3-3-2-2½ (3) cm a total of 2-3-5-5 (5) times = 34-36-36-38 (40) stitches. When the sleeve measures 8-11-12-15 (18) cm from the division, increase 2-4-4-6 (4) stitches evenly spaced = 36-40-40-44 (44) stitches. Change to double pointed needles size 3 mm and work rib (knit 2, purl 2) for 2 cm. Cast off. The sleeve measures approx. 10-13-14-17 (20) cm. Work the other sleeve in the same way. POCKETS: Work 2 loose pockets as follows: Cast on 10-14-14-18 (18) stitches with circular needle size 3 mm and DROPS Merino Extra Fine. * Knit 2, purl 2 *, work from *-* until there are 2 stitches left, knit 2. Work this rib back and forth for 2 cm. Change to circular needle size 4 mm. Work stocking stitch until the pocket measures 5-5-5-5 (6 cm). Cast off. ASSEMBLY: Sew the pockets to each front piece, 3 to 4 cm in from each band and 2 to 3 cm above the bottom rib. |
