How do you make the middle section between the circular base and the handle please I can’t seem to find instructions for this part - or perhaps I’ve missed something?

Dear Menna, the middle section is explained here: "Work a total of 10 rounds. The piece measures approx. 5 cm from the middle and there are 60 double crochets. Insert 1 marker on the last round to measure from. Work 1 double crochet in each double crochet until the piece measures 12 cm from the marker." You finish the base when the piece measures approx. 5cm from the middle and you have 60 double crochets. Then work 1dc in each dc for 12 cm. Since you work straight, the piece will fold upwards naturally. Happy crochetting!

It seems there is a mistake and stitch count for the handle. It seems that we are adding 5×2 stitches for handles so the total should be 70.
