In this DROPS video we show you how to work after diagram A.1 with cable and rib like we have in some of our baby patterns. We work the diagram 2 times and 8 sts rib (K 2, P 2) on each side of the diagram. To see a pattern with this technique, go to:

Dear Hillary, the purl stitches are purled with the norwegian method but all other stitches are worked with the continental method. You can also read more about diagrams here<.a>. Hope it can help. Happy knitting!
