INFORMATION FOR PATTERN:

PATTERN:
Bracelet: See diagram A.1.
----------------------------------------------------------

BRACELET:
Work on hook size 4 mm / G/6 and shocking pink. Work 5 chain stitches and form a ring with 1 slip stitch in first chain stitch made Then work according to diagram A.1. When piece measures approx. 19 cm from chain stitch ring, pull loop on hook until it measures approx. 12 cm / 4¾'', tie the long loop (= 2 strands) together with the other strand (= 1 strand). Thread a bead on the 3 strands and fasten by making a double knot at the end. Cut the 3 strands so that the end is approx. 1 cm / 3/8''. The bracelet is fastened around the wrist by treading the 5 chain stitches from the beginning of the piece around the bead at the end of the piece.
Work another bracelet in heather.

----------------------------------------------------------

NECKLACE WITH TASSELS:
Make first 7 tassels with a bead at the top of each tassel, then tie tassels together and work a row with chain stitches and double crochets to tie around the neck.

Make 2 tassels with medium pink, 2 tassels with shocking pink, 2 tassels with heather and 1 tassel with rust (= 7 tassels) as follows:
1 tassel: Cut 22 strands of 12 cm / 4¾'' and place the strands together. Cut 2 lengths of yarn of 20 cm / 8''. Place one of the strands around the 22 strands and tie a knot in the middle. Fold in two at the knot, and twine the other strand 3 times around approx. 1½ cm down from fold, tie a knot. Thread a wooden bead on the strand at the top of tassel (= 2 strands through bead). Make the other tassels the same way.

Place tassels after one another in desired order, e.g. medium pink, shocking pink, heather, rust, heather, shocking pink, medium pink. Make sure that the knot from strand twined around 1½ cm down from fold is towards the same side as all tassels, so that the right side is without knots and the wrongs side is with knots.

Now ties the tassels together at the top of each tassel as follows: NOTE: The tassels should be fastened so that they lie tight next to each other.
Tie the 2 strands on 1st tassel together with one of the strands in 2nd tassel, tie the other strand on 2nd tassel together with one of the strands on 3rd tassel, tie the other strand on 3rd tassel together with one of the strands on 4th tassel. Continue like this until 1 strand remains in 6th tassel, tie the other strand on 6th tassel together with the 2 strands on 7th tassel. Thread each of the strands on a thin needle and thread the through the hole in bead one by one, fasten strand in tassel (in strand twined 3 times).

Now tie strand twined 1½ cm down from fold together as follows:
Tie one of the strands on 1st tassel together with one of the strands on 2nd tassel, tie the other strand on 2nd tassel together with one of the strands on 3rd tassel. Continue like this until all tassels are tied together. Use a thin needle to hide the strand ends in the tassel so that they are invisible from the right side.
Cut the strands to make the tassels even.

Now work a row with chain stitches and double crochets (= string used to tie in the neck) as follows:
Work chain stitches on hook size 4 mm / G/6 with medium pink until chain stitch row measures 43 cm, continue from the right side on tassels, * 1 double crochet around strand tied between the 2 first/next tassels, 1 chain stitch *, work from *-* until 1 double crochet has been worked between each of the tassels (= 6 double crochets), continue with chain stitches until chain stitch row measures 43 cm. Cut the yarn. Thread a bead on both strings (= chain stitch row). Tie a knot at the end of each string and cut the end to make it the same in each side. Tie the necklace in the back of neck.

Ciska 13.08.2018 - 23:03:
