Yarn over and pull thread through all 6 sts, 1 chain stitch = 1st puff stitch. * Skip 1 stitch, put crochet hook into next stitch, pick up yarn and pull it through, yarn over and insert the hook into the same stitch, pick up yarn and pull it through, yarn over and insert the hook into the same stitch, pick up yarn and pull it through = 6 stitches on needle. Yarn over and pull the thread through all 6 stitches, 1 chain stitch *, repeat * - * all the row = 7 puff stitches. Turn. ROW 2: Change color, work 2 chain stitches. * Insert the crochet hook into the 1ststitch in the puff stitch from the previous row, pick up yarn and pull it through, yarn over and insert the crochet hook into the same stitch, pick up yarn and pull it through, yarn over and insert the crochet hook into same stitch, pick up yarn and pull it through = 6 stitches on crochet hook. Yarn over and pull the thread through all 6 stitches and work 1 chain stitch *, repeat * - * all the row = 7 puff stitches that turn the other way. Turn.
