Dear Christine, first work until piece measures 3". Then, on the next 5 rounds after reaching this measurement, decrease as indicated. Happy knitting!

I don't understand when I turn piece to WS the instructions to decrease at same time dec 4-4-6 sts evenly? Is that every 4th stitch then 4th than 6th stitch. Please help!
05.03.2023 - 23:35DROPS Design answered:
Hi Christine, The 3 numbers refer to the 3 different sizes, so you decrease the number of stitches cited for your size e.g. for size 35/37 you decrease 4 stitches . Happy knitting!

Hello, I am attempting to make these for the first time and finding that each row, or star section is increasing by one star, is that supposed to happen? I started with 31 stitches which made 15 stars in original section but moved to 16 and 17 stars accordingly. Just curious if that is how it goes, or if I am doing something wrong?
22.09.2018 - 22:53DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Haire, you can check from this video how to crochet the star pattern. Make sure you have the required number of stars at the end of each row. Happy crocheting!

Why does the “heel seam” work it’s way around to the side of the boot when it’s time to do 55 sc each round?
07.11.2017 - 03:49DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Helton Weaver, when dec from 55 sc to 45 sc you should dec the first 2 sc on round and the last 2 sc on round (ie 2 sc are dec, 1 sc on in each side of beg of round). Happy crocheting!
