Then work 1 sc in every sc – READ CROCHET TIP - until piece measures 5-6-7 cm / 2''-2 3/8''-2 3/4''. Then work as follows:
ROW 1: Work 1 sc in each of the first 18-20-23 sc, * work the next 2 sc tog - READ CROCHET TOG *, repeat from *-* 6 more times, 1 sc in each of the last 19-21-24 sc = 44-48-54 sc.
ROW 2: Work the first 2 sc tog, 1 sc in each of the next 19-21-24 sc, work the next 2 tog, 1 sc in each of the next 19-21-24 sc, work the last 2 sc tog = 41-45-51 sc. REMEMBER THE CROCHET GAUGE!

ROW 4: Work the first 2 sc tog, 1 sc in each of the next 14-16-19 sc, work the next 2 tog, 1 sc in each of the next 14-16-19 sc, work the last 2 sc tog = 31-35-41 sc.

Finish dec in size 5/6½ and 7½/9 (EU35/37 and 38/40) here, fasten off.

SIZE 9½- 10½ (EU41/43):
ROW 7: Work the first 2 sc tog, 1 sc in each of the next 12 sc, work the next 2 tog, 1 sc in each of the next 13 sc, work the last 2 sc tog = 28 sc.
ROW 8: Work the first 2 sc tog, 1 sc in each of the next 11 sc, work the next 2 tog, 1 sc in each of the next 11 sc, work the last 2 sc tog = 25 sc. Fasten off.

ASSEMBLY:
Start under the foot at the front of toe. Sew tog edge to edge in outer loops of edge sts to avoid a chunky seam. Sew tog mid under foot, up along the heel mid back. Fasten off.

CROCHET EDGE:
Work a picot edge around the opening on slipper. Beg mid back on slipper and work on hook size 7 mm/ K or L with Andes as follows: 1 sl st, * ch 3, 1 dc in 1st ch, skip 1 sc, 1 sl st in next st *, repeat from *-* and finish with 1 sl st in sl st at beg of round.

Work another slipper the same way.
