When piece measures 14 cm / 5½'', inc 40 sts evenly (i.e. make 1 YO after every st) – READ INCREASE TIP = 81 sts.

DROPS Design 09.01.2017 kl. 09:20:

Provi a controllare. Buon lavoro!!

Bouvet Marie Claude 19.05.2014 - 17:31:

Bon tricot!

Else 01.03.2014 - 01:52:

What does it mean to "work dropped stitches ".

DROPS Design 01.03.2014 kl. 09:52:

Dear Else, "dropped sts" are when you work 1 row *K1, 1YO* and on next row K the st and drop the yo, the sts are then longer (see video below with 2 yos). Happy knitting!

Irina 06.02.2014 - 23:23:

Good evening(already)! I've received all answers from DROPS Tutorial Videos. Thank you for your attention and patience!

Irina 06.02.2014 - 22:32:

Please explain in more detail what this means:Continue in stocking st with 1 edge st in GARTER ST – see explanation above – in each side. Should I knit stocking st only the first edgeand the rest in GARTER ST ? Thank you for your attention and sorry for the inconvenience

DROPS Design 07.02.2014 kl. 01:44:

This means technically that on RS rows you K all sts across, and on WS rows you K1, P across, and end row with K1. The piece will be in stockinette, and you will have 1 stitch each side in garter st (i.e garter is K on every row).

Knitter 23.05.2013 - 20:11:

What do you mean K YOs from previous row twisted to avoid holes? how we knit the YO twisted?

DROPS Design 24.05.2013 kl. 09:01:

Dear Knitter, it means to K yo from previous row into back of loop - see video to vizualize how to do - Happy knitting!
