Dear Karen, there seems to be a mistake in the pattern instructions. We will send your comment to our design department so that they check the pattern. Happy knitting!

Bon tricot!

Lantioni ympärys on 95 cm, joten haluaisin neuloa koon XS/S.

PATTERN: See diagram M.1 and M.2. The diagrams show the pattern from RS. INCREASE TIP: Inc 1 st on each side of every marker as follows: Work until 1 st remains before marker, make 1 YO, K 2 sts (marker is between these 2 sts), make 1 YO. On next round K YOs twisted (i.e. work in back loop of st instead of front) to avoid holes. DECREASE TIP (applies to legs): Dec on each side of marker as follows: Dec as follows before marker: K 2 tog. Dec as follows after marker: K 2 twisted tog (i.e. work in back loop of st instead of front). -------------------------------------------------------- TIGHTS: Worked in the round on circular needle, top down. Cast on 144-168-192-216 sts on circular needle size 3 mm / US 2or3 with Karisma. Insert 1 marker at beg of round (= mid back) and 1 marker after 72-84-96-108 sts (= mid front). Work rib as follows: K 2, * P 3, K 3 *, repeat from *-* a total of 5-6-7-8 times, P 3, K 2, repeat from *-* a total of 5-6-7-8 times, P 3, K 4, repeat from *-* a total of 5-6-7-8 times, P 3, K 2, repeat from *-* a total of 5-6-7-8 times, P 3 and K 2. I.e. there are 4 K sts mid front and mid back. Continue rib like this until it measures 6 cm / 2⅜". Then work an elevation at the back as follows (still in rib): Work 11 sts past marker mid back, turn piece, slip 1 st, tighten yarn and work 11 sts past marker in the other side, turn piece, * slip 1 st, tighten yarn and work 9 sts more for every turn, turn *, repeat from *-* until 14-20-26-32 sts remain mid front which have not been worked. Turn one last time to get on RS of piece. Work until marker mid back = beg of round. Switch to circular needle size 4 mm / US 6. Continue working in the round over all sts as follows: 20-26-32-38 sts in stockinette st, 9 sts in rib (= P 3, K 3, P 3), diagram M.1(= 14 sts), 9 sts in rib (= P 3, K 3, P 3), 40-52-64-76 sts in stockinette st, 9 sts in rib, diagram M.2 (= 14 sts), 9 sts in rib and 20-26-32-38 sts in stockinette st. When piece measures 14-14-13-16 cm / 5½"-5½"-5⅛"-6¼" mid front, inc 2 sts mid front and mid back – READ INCREASE TIP. Repeat inc on every 6th round a total of 7-8-10-9 times = 172-200-232-252 sts – work the inc sts in stockinette st. When piece measures 29-31-34-36 cm / 11⅜"-12¼"-13⅜"-14¼" mid front, bind off the first 6-7-8-8 sts after marker mid back, work the next 74-86-100-110 sts and slip them on a stitch holder (= left leg), work the next 12-14-16-16 sts and keep them on the needle (= gusset), work the next 74-86-100-110 sts and slip them on a stitch holder (= right leg), bind off the remaining 6-7-8-8 sts, cut the yarn. Then work 11-12-13-14 cm / 4⅜"-4¾"-5⅛"-5½" in stockinette st back and forth over the 12-14-16-16 sts on needle, bind off and sew gusset to the 12-14-16-16 sts bind off mid back. RIGHT LEG: Slip the 74-86-100-110 sts from stitch holder in the right side on a short circular needle size 4 mm / US 6, pick in addition up 24-26-28-30 sts along one side of the gusset = 98-112-128-140 sts. Insert 1 marker on the inside of leg (i.e. in the middle of the sts knitted up along gusset) = beg of round. Then work rib and pattern over the 32 sts in the side as before, work the remaining sts in stockinette st. When leg measures 8 cm / 3⅛", dec 1 st on each side of marker - READ DECREASE TIP! Repeat dec every 3-2½-2-2 cm / 1⅛"-⅞"-¾"-¾" a total of 19-23-28-34 times = 60-66-72-72 sts (switch to double pointed needles when needed). Continue to work until leg measures approx. 74-74-76-76 cm / 29"-29"-30"-30", now 4 cm / 1½" remain until finished measurements (try it on for correct length). Switch to double pointed needles size 3 mm / US 2or3. Then work next round as follows (from marker mid on inside of leg): SIZE XS/S: K 2, * P 3, K 3 *, repeat from *-* a total of 4 times, P 3, K 2, repeat from *-* a total of 4 times, P 3, K 2. SIZE M/L: P 2, * K 3, P 3 *, repeat from *-* a total of 5 times, K 2, P 3, repeat from *-* a total of 4 times, K 3, P 2. SIZE XL and XXL: K 2, * P 3, K 3 *, repeat from *-* a total of 5 times, P 3, K 2, repeat from *-* a total of 5 times, P 3, K 2. ALL SIZES: When rib measures 4 cm / 1½", bind off with K over K and P over P. LEFT LEG: Slip sts from the other stitch holder back on needle and work as on first leg. |
