PATTERN:

BACK PIECE:
Worked back and forth on circular needle. Cast on 84-92-100-112-124-140 sts (includes 1 edge st each side) on needle size 4.5 mm / US 7 with 2 strands Alpaca. Work rib as follows – as seen from RS: 1 edge st, * K2, P2 *, repeat from *-* and finish with K2 and 1 edge st. REMEMBER THE GAUGE! When piece measures 4 cm / 1½'' change to needle size 5 mm / US 8 and work 2 rows GARTER ST – see above, AT THE SAME TIME on row 1 dec 18-18-20-24-26-30 sts evenly = 66-74-80-88-98-110 sts. READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING SECTION BEFORE CONTINUING!
Now cast on new sts each side for sleeves, repeat at the end of every row each side as follows: 6 sts 3 times, 13-12-12-11-10-8 sts 2 times and 18-18-17-17-16-16 sts 1 time = 190-194-198-202-206-210 sts. WORK THE INC STS INTO THE FOLLOWING PATTERN AS YOU GO ALONG (work sts in M.1/M.2 in stockinette st until they fit into pattern). MAKE SURE TO PLACE THE DIAGRAM CORRECTLY, so that you have as seen from beg of row from RS when all sts have been cast on:
1 edge st, P6, M.1, P6, K 35-36-37-38-39-40, P6, M.1, P2, M.2, P6, K 30-32-34-36-38-40 (these sts are mid back), P6, M.1, P2, M.2, P6, K 35-36-37-38-39-40, P6, M.2, P6, 1 edge st.
Place markers in work to make it easier to count when working M.1 and A.2 when increasing.
Continue this pattern until piece measures 35-37-39-41-43-45 cm / 13¾''-14½''-15¼''-16 1/8''-17''-17¾'', now bind off the middle 26-28-30-32-34-36 sts for neck and complete each shoulder separately = 82-83-84-85-86-87 sts left on each shoulder/sleeve.

Bind off when piece measures 37-39-41-43-45-47 cm / 14½''-15¼''-16 1/8''-17''-17¾''-18½''.
