The measurement may seem small, but the top becomes very elastic so knit your usual size.

Materials: DROPS Paris from Garnstudio
150-150-150-200-200 g color no 6, strong pink
and use DROPS Cotton Viscose from Garnstudio
100-100-100-150-150 g color no 8, cerise

DROPS STRAIGHT NEEDLES size 4.5 and 6 mm /US 7 and 10
- or size needed to get 14 sts x 18 rows in stockinette st with 1 strand of each yarn on needle size 6 mm / US 10 = 10 x 10 cm / 4'' x 4''.

Pattern instructions

NOTE: This pattern is written in American English. All measurements in charts are in cm. For conversion from inches to cm - click here. There are different terms for crocheting in American and British English. If this pattern includes crochet, click for "crochet terms" here. For this pattern in British English, please click here.
Rib: *K2, P2*, repeat from *-*.

Garter st, back and forth on needle: K all rows.

Decreasing tip (applies to armhole): All dec done from RS. Dec inside 3 garter sts.
Dec as follows after 3 sts: slip 1 st as if to K, K1, psso.
Dec as follows before 3 sts: K2 tog

Front piece:
Worked back and forth. Cast on 41-47-53-59-65 sts (includes 1 edge st each side) on needle size 4.5 mm / US 7 with 1 strand of each yarn and work 3 cm / 1 1/8'' Rib with 1 edge st each side.
Change to needle size 6 mm / US 10 and continue in stockinette st. Remember to check the knitting gauge.
When piece measures 5 cm / 2'' inc 1 st each side on every 3-3.5-3.5-4-4 cm / 1 1/8"-1 1/4"-1 1/4"-1½"-1½" a total of 4 times = 49-55-61-67-73 sts.
At the same time when piece measures 17-18-19-20-21 cm / 6 3/4"-7"-7½"-8"-8 1/4" work 2 rows with garter st on 5-6-7-8-9 sts each side (work remaining sts as before).
On next row bind off 2-3-4-5-6 sts each side for armhole and dec to shape the armhole on every other row – see Decreasing tip: 1 st 4-5-6-7-8 times = 37-39-41-43-45 sts.
Continue with 3 garter sts towards armhole each side until piece measures 25-27-29-31-33 cm / 9 3/4"-10½"-11½"-12 1/4"-13".
Work 2 rows garter st on all sts and bind off.

Back piece:
Cast on and work like front piece.

Assembly: Sew side seam inside 1 edge st.

Shoulder straps: 1 strap: cut 6 strands of each yarn measuring 120 cm / 47" each (= 12 strands). Pull strands through bind off row at one side of front piece.
Fold all strands double and pleat tog, tie a knot at the end.
Repeat the other side of front piece and on back piece.
Tie tog straps on shoulder.
