Hello. I wonder if doily made of Belle Drops needs to be blocked? Thank you Joanna

Dear Joanna, you can always block doilies to make them nicer, and somewhat more flat. Happy crocheting!

I'm sorry, I usually love your patterns, but this one is supremely badly written and totally confusing. Can you possibly please rewrite this in the usual way? ( For example: Ch4, sl st in 1st st to form ring. Rnd 1: 6 DC in ring, sl st to join....etc.) Not everybody can work off a diagram, or even with a video tutourial, and prefer a written pattern. I\'ve made several of your patterns before, and have never encountered one this confusing. 😕

Dear Mrs Takada, we only have diagram to this pattern, start working with the ring of chains -see symbol - and read from the right towards the left on every round like this: work A.1 (= beg of round), repeat A.2 a total of 6 times in the round (then from the round with a black star, repeat A.2 a total of 15 times in the round) increasing 6 sts on last round in A.2. You will then crochet A.3 (beg of round) and repeat A.4 a total of 13 times in the round. and so on with next diagrams. Happy crocheting!

EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 to A.6 (A.1, A.3 and A.5 show how the rounds start and finish). ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- TABLE CLOTH - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The piece is worked in the round, from the middle outwards. TABLE CLOTH: Work 4 chain stitches with hook size 3.5 mm and Belle. Form them into a ring with 1 slip stitch in the first chain stitch. Work A.1 (shows how the rounds start and finish) and A.2 a total of 6 times on the round. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! From the round marked with a black star, work 15 repeats on the round. In addition, on the last round in A.2, increase 6 treble crochets evenly on the round = 156 treble crochets. The piece measures approx. 25 cm in diameter. Continue from the round with an arrow as follows: Work A.3 (shows how the rounds start and finish) and work A.4 a total of 13 times on the round. When A.3 and A.4 have been completed, there are 260 stitches on the round. The piece measures approx. 43 cm in diameter. Continue working from the round with an arrow as follows: Work A.5 (shows how the rounds start and finish) and work A.6 over each repeat of A.4. When A.5 and A.6 have been completed, the table cloth is finished. The piece measures approx. 47 cm in diameter. Cut and fasten the strand. |
