Hei! Når jeg har heklet ferdig A4 har jeg 182 masker på omgangen. Kan det virkelig stemme at det riktige antallet skal være 260 masker? Slett gjerne kommentaren hvis jeg er helt på jordet. Det er et kjempefint mønster! Hilsen Tone

Hei Tone.

Sorry, in previous message I should have written that shell row is 9th in A2.

Am I reading the chart correctly? On A2, row 11 (fourth from star), the chart indicates that no stitch should be worked in the single crochet in middle of fan, or shell. When I reach the last row of A2, having increased 6 as directed, I end up with only 142 stitches, not 156. By reworking row 11 placing stitch into that sc, and increasing 5, I arrive at 156 in total. I counted the number of shells in your photo, so I think my mistake must be after row 10, shell row.
17.12.2020 - 18:49DROPS Design answered:
Dear Maureen, diagram is correct as it is. On 11th row in A.2 there are 9 sts x 15 = 135 sts; on row 12: 10 sts x 15 = 150 sts and on the last row there are 10 sts x 15 repeats = 150 sts, but you have to increase 6 sts evenly on this round = 156 sts after last round in A.2. Happy crocheting!

I am not afraid of charts. I cannot follow them, I dont like them. I have been crocheting for 48 years, and your answer was a little on the condecending side. I need a written pattern, which is why I asked if there was one. Not everyone can follow charts, and I am one of them.

Is there an actual written version, not a chart, for this pattern? I cannot work with charts, need the pattern written out

Dear Paula, working after charts is not so complicated, there is no reason to be affraid of it :-) - you will find a lesson on how to read a crochet diagram here. Happy crocheting!

How many 1 treble crochet sell I make in the ring?
29.10.2020 - 10:55DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Erdelyi, you have to repeat A.2 a total of 6 times in the round (A.1 is only beg/end of rounds), on first round in A.2, you work 2 treble crochets in the ring x 6 repeats = there are 12 treble crochets on first round. read more about diagrams here. Happy crocheting!

I really enjoyed making this pattern. This was the first time I have followed a chart before and I am very pleased with the results. I have tried to post a picture here but there doesn\'t seem to be a way to do so, so I have added a picture on my Instagram page and tagged you in ☺️

EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 to A.6 (A.1, A.3 and A.5 show how the rounds start and finish). ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- TABLE CLOTH - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The piece is worked in the round, from the middle outwards. TABLE CLOTH: Work 4 chain stitches with hook size 3.5 mm and Belle. Form them into a ring with 1 slip stitch in the first chain stitch. Work A.1 (shows how the rounds start and finish) and A.2 a total of 6 times on the round. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! From the round marked with a black star, work 15 repeats on the round. In addition, on the last round in A.2, increase 6 treble crochets evenly on the round = 156 treble crochets. The piece measures approx. 25 cm in diameter. Continue from the round with an arrow as follows: Work A.3 (shows how the rounds start and finish) and work A.4 a total of 13 times on the round. When A.3 and A.4 have been completed, there are 260 stitches on the round. The piece measures approx. 43 cm in diameter. Continue working from the round with an arrow as follows: Work A.5 (shows how the rounds start and finish) and work A.6 over each repeat of A.4. When A.5 and A.6 have been completed, the table cloth is finished. The piece measures approx. 47 cm in diameter. Cut and fasten the strand. |
