Buonasera!

Merci

Hi, I'm nearing the end of this sweater but don't understand some parts. Am I right in understanding that once I put the 17 stitches on hold I'm no longer knitting in the round but knitting back and forth like normal knitting? I also don't understand what "bind off 2sts 1 time and 1st 1 time" means (I'm knitting 3-4 years old). And after I have 59 remaining stitches what do I do? The neck edge is very confusing. Please help. Thank you
22.03.2018 - 01:40DROPS Design answered:
Dear Kitty, that's right, after you have slipped the 17 sts on mid front on a st holder, you continue back and forth decreasing for raglan as before, and at the same time you shape neck binding off at the beg of each row on each side (= both from RS and from WS) 2 sts 1 time (= in first size), ie bind off 2 sts at the beg of each of the next 2 rows from neck. After all dec for raglan and neck are done, 57 sts remain for the smallest size. Now pick up sts along neck (sts from st holder + each side of neck) to get approx. 86 sts and continue working neck as explained. Happy knitting!

Hi, I am knitting this sweater but unfortunately, raglan decreases look completely messed up. and i am confused in bind off for the neck.
22.02.2018 - 06:30DROPS Design answered:
Dear Anju, insert a marker between sleeve and body = 4 markers. Now decrase for raglan as follows, dec 1 st, slip marker, dec 1 st = raglan line will look like 2 sts in stocking st, marker is between these 2 sts. You will decrease every 2nd row/round 13-17 times in total (see size) then 3-9 times every round/row - round until dec for neckline have started, then you will continue in row from neck and dec every 2nd row and/or every row (depending on the size). Happy knitting!
