Thank you for this beautiful pattern. I am making the XL size. I have finished row 15 and had the correct tr count of 86 and went to row 16 and have 215 at the end . Now I'm back to row 14 . I understand the piece is increasingbin size with each row. When I finish this row how many stitches should I have ?Is there a formula so I know what the count is after you increase ? Does this make sense? Thank you so much.
05.02.2018 - 00:23DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Pendry, when repeating row 14 just repeat each row as described, you will continue increasing as before (the number of sts will be higher at the end of each row), if you work as described, you should get the correct number of sts. Happy crocheting!

I was thinking about making this pattern with yarn I already have. I see the pattern calls for two strands of sports weight yarn, would I be able to substitute with one strand of worsted weight yarn? And when switching from two strands to one does the amount/length of yarn I need for the pattern change. Rather, going from two strands to one would I divide overall length by two?
24.01.2018 - 19:20DROPS Design answered:
Dear Kayla, you can use 1 strand yarn Group C instead of 2 strands yarn group A - read more about alternatives here. Happy crocheting!

Hello, I am having an issue at round 5. I have finished round 4 with 36 tr, but when i crochet a single tr in each treble and 3tr in 3 chain loops in Round 5 I am only ending up with 62 tr not 72. Any suggestions with what I am doing wrong? Thanks
24.01.2018 - 12:25DROPS Design answered:
Dear Ingrida, at the end of round 4 there are 12 ch-spaces + 36 tr, then on round 5 you will crochet 1 tr in each tr = 36 tr and 3 tr in each of the 12 ch-spaces = 3 x 12 = 36 tr, you will then have 72 tr at the end of round 5. Happy crocheting!

I'm stuck after round 16. i've done the arm holes now I need to get the circle bigger. it says Repeat round 14, 15 and 16 with inc. until the circle measures 100-110-120 cm . what does the "with increase" part mean? what do I increase?
21.12.2017 - 16:07DROPS Design answered:
Dear Sam, when repeating round 14, 15 and 16 you will automatically increase number of sts, ie work these rounds as written, the number of sts will be higher on each round. Happy crocheting!

Thank you for answering. I don't understand the instructions for xl arm hole at all.
18.10.2017 - 21:05DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Petersen, you will have to work the round with armholes according to the round 14 and at the same time skip stitches and crocheting 34 chains on 2 places for the armholes as explained below and in the pattern. Continue then with round 15 crocheting in the stitches and around the 34-chain-spaces (these holes = armholes). Continue then with circle with 16 as explained. Happy crocheting!

I too am having difficulty with wThe armhole, I went from CIRCLE 13th round to BIND OFF 14th round. On the BIND OFF 15th round, what does crochet over the 34 chain mean? I'm lost at this point. Thanks for your help, Margie
22.08.2017 - 20:29DROPS Design answered:
Dear Margie! In size XL you bind off sts for armhole (you crochet the armholes) according to round 14. These 34 chain sts are one armhole. In 15th round you crochet over all the sts (in circle): over armhole (34 ch): *1 dtr, 3 ch*, repeat from *-* a total of 11 times (two times for two armholes) and over dtr: 1 dtr, *3 ch, skip over 2 dtr, 1 dtr in the next dtr*, finish with a dtr in the last dtr = 86 dtr. Continue on round 16 as explained above (in 15th round). Happy crocheting!

Dear Mel. You will have to skip a total of 24 dtr (tr if you are following the us text), and work again as explained starting from the 25th dtr (tr) . Happy crocheting!
