Esimerkiksi: vartalon ympärys on 102cm. Pitääkö valita seuraava suurempi koko, vai onko mai onko mallissa tarvittava löysyys?
28.02.2022 - 11:01DROPS Design answered:
Mittapiirroksesta löytyvät mitat ovat valmiin työn mitat, eli sinun tulee valita suurempi koko. Mikäli kokosi on esim. M voit neuloa tämän koon mukaisesti.

Knitted jumper in DROPS Merino Extra Fine. Piece is knitted top down with round yoke and Nordic pattern. Size: S - XXXL

---------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATION FOR THE PATTERN: ---------------------------------------------------------- INCREASE/DECREASE TIP (evenly): To calculate how to increase/decrease evenly, use the total number of stitches on row (e.g. 120 stitches) and divide stitches by number of increases/decreases to be done (e.g. 20) = 6. In this example increase by making 1 yarn over after every 6th stitch. On next round work yarn overs twisted to avoid holes. To decrease in this example knit every 5th and 6th stitch together. PATTERN: See diagram A.1. Work the entire pattern in stocking stitch. KNITTING TIP: To avoid the garment losing elasticity when working pattern, it is important not to tighten the strands on back side of piece. Switch to a higher needle number when working pattern if the pattern is somewhat tight. DECREASE TIP (applies to sleeves): Decrease 1 stitch on each side of marker thread as follows: Work until 3 stitches remain before marker thread and knit 2 together, knit 2 (marker thread is between these stitches), slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over stitch worked. CAST-OFF TIP: To avoid a tight cast-off edge when casting off, you may use a larger needle. If this still is too tight make 1 yarn over after approx. every 4th stitch while casting off (cast off yarn overs as stitches). ---------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ---------------------------------------------------------- JUMPER - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: Neck edge and yoke are worked in the round on circular needle, top down. Now divide yoke for body and sleeves. Work body in the round on needle, top down. Work sleeves in the round on double pointed needles, top down. NECK EDGE: Cast on 120-124-128-132-136-140 stitches on circular needle size 3 mm with colour brown DROPS Merino Extra Fine. Knit 1 round. Then work rib in the round = knit 2/ purl 2. Continue rib like this for 11 cm. The neck edge is later folded double and assembled so that the neck edge is approx. 5 cm. Knit 1 round while decreasing 20 stitches evenly - read INCREASE/DECREASE TIP = 100-104-108-112-116-120 stitches on needle. Insert 1 marker at beginning of round (= mid back), measure yoke from this marker! YOKE: Switch to circular needle size 4 mm. Work in stocking stitch in colour brown for 2 cm. Knit 1 round while increasing 20-20-24-24-28-32 stitches evenly- remember INCREASE/DECREASE TIP = 120-124-132-136-144-152 stitches. Knit 1 round. Read KNITTING TIP and then work next round as follows: Work A.1 over all stitches (= 30-31-33-34-36-38 repetitions of 4 stitches). Continue pattern like this. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! AT THE SAME TIME on every round marked with arrow in A.1, increase stitches evenly as explained below - remember INCREASE/DECREASE TIP: Arrow-1: Increase 42-50-54-62-66-70 stitches evenly = 162-174-186-198-210-222 stitches (there is now room for 27-29-31-33-35-37 repetitions A.1 of 6 stitches). Arrow-2: Increase 46-50-46-58-62-74 stitches evenly = 208-224-232-256-272-296 stitches (there is now room for 26-28-29-32-34-37 repetitions A.1 of 8 stitches). Arrow-3: Increase 52-48-52-64-68-72 stitches evenly = 260-272-284-320-340-368 stitches (there is now room for 65-68-71-80-85-92 repetitions A.1 of 4 stitches). Arrow-4: Increase 48-56-68-72-76-80 stitches evenly = 308-328-352-392-416-448 stitches (there is now room for 77-82-88-98-104-112 repetitions A.1 of 4 stitches). Finish A.1, then work with light greyish green until piece measures approx. 26-28-29-31-33-35 cm from marker at the neck. Now divide yoke for body and sleeves as follows: Work 45-49-52-57-63-69 stitches as before (= half back piece), slip the next 63-66-72-82-82-86 stitches on 1 thread for sleeve, cast on 6-6-8-8-10-10 new stitches on row (= in the side under sleeve), work 92-98-104-114-126-138 stitches as before (= front piece), slip the next 63-66-72-82-82-86 stitches on 1 thread for sleeve, cast on 6-6-8-8-10-10 new stitches on row (= in the side under sleeve) and work the remaining 45-49-52-57-63-69 stitches as before (= half back piece). Finish body and sleeves separately. NOW MEASURE PIECE FROM HERE! BODY: = 194-208-224-244-272-296 stitches. Continue with colour light greyish green and stocking stitch. Work until piece measures 22-22-23-23-23-23 cm. 6 cm remain until finished measurements. Try the jumper and work to desired length. Knit 1 round and increase AT THE SAME TIME 38-44-44-48-56-60 stitches evenly = 232-252-268-292-328-356 stitches. Increase stitches to avoid the rib from contracting. Switch to circular needle size 3 mm. Work rib (= knit 2/purl 2). Continue rib like this for 6 cm, then work 1 round rib with colour brown. Cast off stitches with colour brown, with knit over knit and purl over purl - read CAST-OFF TIP! Jumper measures approx. 58-60-62-64-66-68 cm from shoulder. SLEEVES: Slip the 63-66-72-82-82-86 stitches from thread in one side of piece on double pointed needles or a short circular needle size 4 mm and pick in addition up 1 stitch in each of the 6-6-8-8-10-10 new stitches cast on under sleeve = 69-72-80-90-92-96 stitches. Insert 1 marker thread mid under sleeve (in the middle of the new stitches cast on). Move the marker thread upwards when working; it should be used for decrease under sleeve. Work stocking stitch with colour light greyish green. When sleeve measures 3 cm from division in all sizes, decrease 2 stitches mid under sleeve - read DECREASE TIP. Decrease like this every 3½-3-2-1½-1-1 cm 9-10-13-17-18-19 times in total = 51-52-54-56-56-58 stitches. Work until sleeve measures approx. 32-31-30-29-27-25 cm from division. Knit 1 round while increasing 9-8-10-8-8-10 stitches evenly = 60-60-64-64-64-68 stitches. Switch to double pointed needles size 3 mm. Work rib in the round = knit 2/purl 2 for 6 cm. Cast off with knit over knit and purl over purl - remember CAST-OFF TIP. Sleeve measures approx. 38-37-36-35-33-32 cm from division. Work the other sleeve the same way. ASSEMBLY: Fold rib at the top of neck down on inside of garment. Fasten rib to get a double folding edge. To avoid a tight neck edge that sticks out it is important to keep the seam elastic. |
