What does work A1(= 2 treble crochets) mean in uk English? Thanks.
07.03.2025 - 18:36DROPS Design answered:
Dear Frances, A.1 is one of the colours charts, and is worked over 2 treble crochets. Depending on the row you are working, these 2 treble crochets are worked in different colours, as stated in the chart, below the pattern. Happy crochetting!

Ik heb hetzelfde probleem als deze vragenstelster. Daar was alleen nog gen antwoord zichtbaar. Is there a mistake on row 3? As it says 8 increases with A2. With row 3 on A2 there’s only 8 stitches. If you do the 2 increases in that row as shown that equals 10 sts. For that section. To get to the 8 increases you’d repeat that 4 times. Which would arrive at 40 stitches not the 136 for the whole round. So I feel there’s some missing information.
28.02.2025 - 15:16DROPS Design answered:
Dear Zillah, in row 3 of A.2 you increase 2 stitches in each repeat of A.2. You work the pattern as established in the previous 2 rows, but remember that you will increase in A.2. Work A.1 over the first 18 treble crochets, A.2 (+2 increases), repeat A.1 over the next 14 treble crochets, A.2 (+2 increases), repeat A.1 over the next 34 treble crochets, A.2 (+2 increases), repeat A.1 over the next 14 treble crochets, A.2 (+ 2 increases), repeat A.1 over the last 16 treble crochets = 136 treble crochets (including increases in A.2). A.2 is repeated 4 times in the round; since you increase 2 stitches per repeat you increase 8 stitches. Happy crochetting!

Hei Carina. Du hekler A.2 4 ganger per omgang = 8 økte masker.

Bon crochet!

Hei igjen. Takknemlig for alle tips dere kan gi meg.

Hei.
03.03.2022 - 10:06DROPS Design answered:
Hei Lisbeth.

Dag Marion,
Je haakt toer 3 verder in patroon, dus zoals uitgelegd in toer 2, waarbij er dus in totaal 8 stokjes worden gemeerderd omdat je A.2 4 keer haakt op de toer (daar tussen zit A.1)
