Nice pattern! I like the mix of crochet and knit. I would like to make it! (Maybe I would make it a bit longer).

Crochet tension: 5 tr with 1 ch between in width and 5 rows in height = 10 x 10 cm Knitting tension: 11 sts x 15 rows stocking sts = 10 x 10 cm Crochet info: Substitute each tr in beginning of row with 3 ch. Cast off tip (arm hole): Cast off at end of row by crocheting to number of tr/ch to be cast off and then turn piece. Cast off at beg of row by crocheting sl st over number of tr/ch to be cast off. Waistcoat: Back piece: Read US/UK above! Remember knitting tension! Cast on 53-56-62-65-71-80 sts (incl 1 edge sts on each side) on needles size 8 mm with dark grey. P1 row from WS. Knit next row as follows from RS: 1 edge st, * K1, P2 * repeat from *-* and finish with 1 edge st. When Rib measures 10 cm cast off, K over K and P over P. Now crochet with crochet hook size 8 mm and middle grey as follows: Make1 ch between each tr. Complete each row with 1 tr. 1st round: 1 dc in 2nd sts on cast off edge of Rib, 2 ch * 1 ch, skip approx 2 cm, 1 tr in next sts * repeat from *-* 22-24-26-28-30-34 times in total = 23-25-27-29-31-35 tr with 1 ch between each. Crochet 2nd row until piece measures 42-43-44-45-46-47 cm. Now close off 1 tr and 1 ch on each side of each row 2-3-3-4-4-6 times in total – read Cast off tips = 19-19-21-21-23-23 tr with 1 ch between each. When piece measures 60-64-66-68-70-72 cm crochet 1 row but only over 5-5-6-6-6-6 outermost tr on each side = 9-9-9-9-11-11 tr for neck. Cut and sew thread. Continue as follows: 1 st garter st, * K1, P2 * repeat from *-* and finish off with K1 and 1 sts garter st. Continue like this until Rib measures approx 7 cm. Now inc 1 sts on every other row 4 times in total on each of the 3 P-parts on each side of marking thread or stitch marker mid back = 102-117 sts (P new sts).
