Bon tricot!

Thank you. No it is not the increase. It appears that every knit row on that middle section on the top of the foot is done using a different knit stitch - almost like it includes a YO to make it looser. I just can't quite figure it out.
29.01.2020 - 14:30DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Tabar, well I'm not sure how to answer here sorry, the knit stitches look quite usual with continental method and the purl stitches (from WS) are worked Norwegian method. Happy knitting!

Sorry I was not clear in my first post. At the 5:20 minute mark in the Slipper Foot video, the person doing the knitting is using a different type of knit stitch. Can you explain it for me?
28.01.2020 - 16:38DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Tabar, Do you mean when the first stitch on upper foot is worked? The first aand last stitches from upper foot are here just worked into back loop of stitch. It looks like the increase explained in the pattern has been forgotten here, remember to increase on first row on top of foot (= over the 9-11 sts to get 11-13 sts) and decrease this stitch on last row over these stitches. Happy knitting!

I've watched the video on how to do the foot and I can't quite figure out the knit stitch being shown. It certainly isn't mentioned in the pattern. It has twists and KTFL and other things. Please help!

Dear Mrs Tabar, I'm so sorry, I don't understand what you mean, ie which "knit stitch" are you talking about? Thanks for giving us some more informations about your issue.

Dear Laurie, after cast on, you should purl one row (from the right side) and knit another row, and then proceed to set up the pattern. Happy Knitting!

Bon tricot!
