Danke.

Bon tricot!

Front: Cast on 47-51-55-58-62 sts and knit rib as follows (row 1 = right side): Size 12/14 years: K 1 (edge st knit in garter st), P 2, *K 5, P 4*, repeat *-* a total of 4 times, K 5, P 2 and K 1 (edge st knit in garter st). Size XXL: K 1 (edge st knit in garter st), P 3, *K 6, P 6*, repeat *-* a total of 4 times, K 6, P 3 and K 1 (edge st knit in garter st). When the piece measures 12-15-15-15-15 cm inc 1 st inside 1 edge st at each side every 12-15-15-10-10 cm a total of 2-2-2-3-3 times = 51-55-59-64-68 sts – P the increased sts for all sizes except S/M – for that size K all sts (as seen from the right side). When the piece measures 35-43-44-45-46 cm bind off for armhole at each side every other row: 3 sts 1 time and 1 st 2-0-2-2-4 times = 41-49-49-54-54 sts. When the piece measures 50-59-61-63-65 cm bind off the center 9-11-11-12-12 sts for the neck. Bind off at each neck edge every other row: 2 sts 1 time and 1 st 2 times = 12-15-15-17-17 sts remain on each shoulder. Bind off when the piece measures 56-66-68-70-72 cm. Back: Cast on and knit the same as the front. Bind off for armhole as on front. When the piece measures 54-64-66-68-70 cm bind off the center 15-17-17-18-18 sts for the neck. On the next row dec 1 st at each neck edge = 12-15-15-17-17 sts remain on each shoulder. Bind off when the piece measures 56-66-68-70-72 cm. Sleeve: Cast on 20-24-24-26-26 sts and knit rib as follows (row 1 = right side): Size 12/14 years: K 1 (edge st knit in garter st), K 3, P 4, K 5, P 4, K 2 and K 1 (edge st knit in garter st). Sizes XL + XXL: K 1 (edge st knit in garter st), K 3, P 6, K 6, P 6, K 3 and K 1 (edge st knit in garter st). When the piece measures 8-10-10-10-10 cm change to stockinette st if you want to knit only the cuff in rib, or continue in rib if you want to knit the entire sleeve in rib. When the piece measures 12 cm inc 1 st at each side every 3.5-4-3.5-3.5-3 cm a total of 10-10-11-11-12 times = 40-44-46-48-50 sts – knit the increased sts into rib or stockinette st as you go along, to match rest of sleeve. When the sleeve measures 47-50-50-50-48 cm bind off for sleeve cap at each side every other row: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 1-1-1-1-2 times and 1 st 1 time, then bind off 2 sts at each side until the piece measures 53-55-57-57-59 cm, then bind off 3 sts at each side 1 time. Bind off the remaining sts, the piece measures approx. 54-56-58-58-60 cm. Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. If you are making the sweater with ribbed sleeves, join the pieces so that the K ribs are at the sleeve edge on right side. If you are making the sweater with stockinette st sleeves, join the pieces so that the P ribs are at the sleeve edge on right side. Collar: Sizes 12/14 years + S/M + L: Pick up approx. 42-54 sts (divisible by 6) around the neck on double-pointed needles; join and P 1 row then K 1 row. Then knit rib (= K 3/ P 3) – see that you get K 3 or P 3 at center front. Sizes XL + XXL: Pick up approx. 48-56 sts (divisible by 8) around the neck on double-pointed needles; join and P 1 row then K 1 row. Then knit rib (= K 4 / P 4) – see that you get K 4 or P 4 at center front. When the collar measures 16-16-18-18-18 cm bind off in pattern. Sew in sleeves. Sew sleeve and side seams using edge sts as a seam allowance. |
