Hej!

Går denne an å strikke rundt?

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- RIDGE/GARTER STITCH (worked back and forth): Knit all rows. 1 ridge = knit 2 rows. PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 and A.2. The diagrams show all rows in the pattern from the right side. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- VEST – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The back and front pieces are worked separately, back and forth and bottom up. The piece is sewn together and the neck and sleeve-edges are worked to finish. BACK PIECE: Cast on 117-127-139-149-163-183 stitches with needle size 2.5 mm and DROPS Baby Merino. Purl 1 row from the wrong side. Work the next row from the right side as follows: 3 stitches in GARTER STITCH – read description above, * knit 1, purl 1 *, work from *-* until there are 4 stitches left, knit 1, 3 stitches in garter stitch. Continue this rib back and forth for 6 cm. Knit 1 row from the right side where you decrease 21-21-23-25-27-31 stitches evenly spaced = 96-106-116-124-136-152 stitches. Change to needle size 3 mm. Purl 1 row from the wrong side, but knit 1 in both the front and back loops of the first and last stitch on the row = 98-108-118-126-138-154 stitches. Work the next row from the right side as follows: 1 stitch in garter stitch, work 0-0-0-4-0-3 stitches in stocking stitch, work A.1 9-10-11-11-13-14 times, A.2, work 0-0-0-4-0-3 stitches in stocking stitch, 1 edge stitch in garter stitch. Continue this pattern back and forth. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When the piece measures 28-29-30-31-32-33 cm, cast off for the armholes every 2nd row as follows: 3 stitches 1-1-1-1-2-3 times, 2 stitches 2-2-3-4-4-4 times and 1 stitch 2-4-4-4-4-6 times on each side = 80-86-92-96-102-108 stitches. Then cast off 1 stitch every 4th row 3-4-4-4-4-5 times on each side = 74-78-84-88-94-98 stitches. NOTE: When there is not room for a full cable by the armhole due to casting off, work stocking stitch over these stitches. Continue working until the piece measures approx. 49-51-53-55-57-59 cm – adjust so you have at least 2 rows stocking stitch after the last cable. On the next row from the right side, cast off the middle 36-38-40-40-42-44 stitches for the neck and finish each shoulder separately. Continue working as before and cast off for the neck at the beginning of each row from the neck as follows: 2 stitches 1 time and 1 stitch 2 times = 15-16-18-20-22-23 stitches on the shoulder. NOTE: When there is not room for a full cable by the neck due to casting off, work stocking stitch over these stitches. Work until the piece measures 52-54-56-58-60-62 cm. Cast off. Work the other shoulder in the same way. FRONT PIECE: Cast on and work in the same way as the back until the front piece measures approx. 42-44-45-47-48-50 cm – adjust so you have at least 2 rows stocking stitch after the last cable. On the next row from the right side, place the middle 20-22-24-24-26-28 stitches on 1 thread for the neck and finish each shoulder separately. Continue working as before and cast off for the neck at the beginning of each row from the neck as follows: 3 stitches 1 time, 2 stitches 3 times and 1 stitch 3 times = 15-16-18-20-22-23 stitches on the shoulder. NOTE: When there is not room for a full cable by the neck due to casting off, work stocking stitch over these stitches. Work until the piece measures 52-54-56-58-60-62 cm. Cast off. Work the other shoulder in the same way. ASSEMBLY: Sew the shoulder seams. Sew the side seams inside the 1 edge stitch. Start under the armhole and work down, leaving a split of 6 cm at the bottom. NECK: Start from the right side on one shoulder and knit up inside the 1 edge stitch 112-118-124-124-132-136 stitches around the neck (including the stitches on the thread in front) using short circular needle size 2.5 mm. Knit 1 round where you increase evenly to 134-142-148-148-158-164 stitches (number must be divisible by 2). Work rib in the round (knit 1, purl 1) for 3 cm. Cast off a little loosely. SLEEVE-EDGES: Start from the right side at the bottom of the armhole and knit up inside the 1 edge stitch 120-124-130-134-140-144 stitches around the armhole, using short circular needle size 2.5 mm. Knit 1 round where you increase evenly to 144-148-156-160-168-172 stitches (number must be divisible by 2). Work rib in the round (knit 1, purl 1) for 3 cm. Cast off a little loosely. Work the other sleeve-edge in the same way. |
