Replace first tr at beg of every round with tr with 4 ch. Finish round with 1 sl st in 4th ch from beg of round. ---------------------------------------------------------- SHOULDER WARMER: Piece is worked in the round, top down. Ch 120-138-156 loosely on hook size 5 mm /H/8 with light beige and form a ring with 1 sl st in 1st ch. ROUND 1: Ch 1, then work 1 sc in every ch the entire round, finish with 1 sl st in ch from beg of round = 120-138-156 sts. ROUND 2: Ch 3 - READ CROCHET INFO, 1 dc in same st, ch 2, 2 dc in same st, then work pattern according to diagram A.1, i.e. * skip 5 sc, 2 dc + ch 2 + 2 dc in next sc *, repeat from *-* a total of 19-22-25 times, skip 5 sc and finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round = 20-23-26 dc-groups. ROUND 3: Work sl sts until first ch-space, ch 3, 1 dc in same ch-space, ch 2, 2 dc in same ch-space. Then work pattern according to diagram A.1, i.e. work 2 dc + ch 2 + 2 dc in every ch-space in the middle of every dc-group, finish round with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round = 20-23-26 dc-groups. Then work pattern according to diagram A.2, i.e. work 2 tr + ch 2 + 2 tr in every ch-space in the middle of every dc-group, finish round with 1 sl st in 4th ch from beg of round = 20-23-26 tr-groups. Repeat this round until piece measures approx. 33-35-37 cm /13"-13¾"-14½". Work next round as follows: Work sl sts until first ch-space, ch 4, 1 sc in same ch-space, * ch 3, 1 sc between 2 tr-groups, ch 3, 1 sc in next ch-space, ch 3, 1 sc in same ch-space *, repeat from *-* a total of 19-22-25 times, ch 3, 1 sc between the last 2 tr-groups, ch 3 and 1 sl st in 1st ch from beg of round, cut the yarn. Switch to off white and work 1 sc in first ch-space, * ch 3, 1 sc in next ch-space *, repeat from *-* the entire round, finish with ch 3 and 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round. Cut the yarn. Work a similar edge at the top around the neck as follows: 1 sc in first st, * ch 3, skip 1 st, 1 sc in next st *, repeat from *-* the entire round and finish with ch 3 and 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round. |
