Vzor A.3. To nevychazi . Z treti rady zustalo jen 1 oko. Prosim o radu. Dekuji Alena

Dobrý den, Aleno! Ve 3. řadě opravdu 1 oko sejmeme, 2 Upleteme hladce (pozor! oka pleteme, nesplétáme!) a sejmuté přes tato 2 upletená oka přetáhneme. Zůstanou tám tedy 2 oka a vzor by měl vycházet bez problémů.

In Diagram explanation part, you say "this is not a stick" (I am working on A1), If it is not a stick what should I do with it? I think in A1 I only need to do K2 P2. Is that right?
11.11.2023 - 05:36DROPS Design answered:
Dear Anne, the black square represents the position occupied by a stitch that has been previously decreased. This means that, when working the current round, this stitch is no longer here, so it can't be worked. Therefore, when you encounter this symbol you simply ignore it (no need to skip stitches in your work) and work the next available symbol after it. In chart A.1, the black square is to align the pattern with the future A.3 chart, where you will sometimes have stitches in the space of the black square. And yes, for A.1, simply work the rib of p2,k2 (and sometimes p1, k2) as shown. Happy knitting!

---------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATION FOR THE PATTERN: ---------------------------------------------------------- GARTER STITCH (back and forth): Knit all rows. 1 ridge vertically = knit 2 rows. PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 to A.3. Diagrams show all rows in pattern seen from the right side. INCREASE TIP (applies to sleeves): Begin 1 stitch before marker, make 1 yarn over, knit 2 (marker thread is between these 2 stitches), make 1 yarn over. On next round knit yarn overs twisted to avoid holes (= 2 stitches increased). Then work the new stitches in stocking stitch. ---------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ---------------------------------------------------------- JUMPER - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: Work front piece and back piece separately back and forth on circular needle, bottom up. Work sleeves in the round on double pointed needles/a short circular needle, bottom up. Finish with a neck edge. BACK PIECE: Cast on 112-120-124-132-144-160 stitches on circular needle size 3 mm with DROPS Merino Extra Fine or DROPS Cotton Merino. Purl 1 row from wrong side. Then work rib as follows from right side: 1 stitch in GARTER STITCH - read explanation above, * purl 2, knit 2 *, repeat from *-* until 3 stitches remain, purl 2 and 1 stitch in garter stitch. Continue back and forth like this until rib measures 6 cm. Knit 1 row from right side and decrease 9-9-9-11-9-13 stitches evenly = 103-111-115-121-135-147 stitches. Switch to circular needle size 4 mm. Then work in stocking stitch with 1 stitch in garter stitch in each side REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When piece measures 35-36-37-38-39-40 cm, cast off 3-5-3-2-5-6 stitches for armholes at the beginning of the 2 next rows = 97-101-109-117-125-135 stitches. When piece measures 51-53-55-56-58-60 cm, cast off the middle 35-35-37-37-41-41 stitches for neck and finish each shoulder separately. Work in stocking stitch and cast off 1 stitch on next row from the neck = 30-32-35-39-41-46 stitches remain on shoulder. Cast off when piece measures 54-56-58-60-62-64 cm. Work the other shoulder the same way. FRONT PIECE: Cast on 123-131-139-147-155-171 stitches on circular needle size 3 mm with DROPS Merino Extra Fine or DROPS Cotton Merino. Purl 1 row from wrong side. Then work rib as follows from right side: Work 1 stitch in garter stitch, * knit 2, purl 2 *, work from *-* over the first 28-32-36-40-44-52 stitches, knit 2, A.1, * knit 2, purl 2 *, work from *-* over the next 28-32-36-40-44-52 stitches, knit 2 and finish with 1 stitch in garter stitch. When rib measures 6 cm, switch to circular needle size 4 mm. Work 1 stitch in garter stitch, 30-34-38-42-46-54 stitches in stocking stitch while at the same time decreasing 5-5-7-7-5-7 stitches evenly over these (= 25-29-31-35-41-47 stitches), A.2, 30-34-38-42-46-54 stitches in stocking stitch while at the same time decreasing 5-5-7-7-5-7 stitches evenly over these (= 25-29-31-35-41-47 stitches), 1 stitch in garter stitch = 113-121-125-133-145-157 stitches. When A.2 has been worked 1 time vertically, there are 115-123-127-135-147-159 stitches on needle and continue with A.3 over stitches in A.2. Repeat A.3 upwards. When piece measures 35-36-37-38-39-40 cm, cast off 3-5-3-2-5-6 stitches for armholes at the beginning of the next 2 rows = 109-113-121-131-137-147 stitches. Then work as before until piece measures 47-48-49-51-52-54 cm. On next row from right side decrease stitches in A.3 as follows: Work over knit stitches as before, purl all 2 purl stitches 2 together and decrease 3 stitches over cables with 6 stitches, work over knit stitches as before. For size XL decrease in addition 2 stitches evenly over the middle 21 stitches = 97-101-109-117-125-135 stitches. On next row from right side slip the middle 29-29-31-31-35-35 stitches on a thread for neck and finish each shoulder separately. Continue as before and cast off for neck at the beginning of every row from neck as follows: Cast off 2 stitches 1 time and 1 stitch 2 times = 30-32-35-39-41-46 stitches for shoulder. Continue back and forth like this until piece measures 54-56-58-60-62-64 cm. Cast off. Work the other shoulder the same way. SLEEVES: Cast on 60-60-64-64-68-68 stitches on double pointed needle size 3 mm with DROPS Merino Extra Fine or DROPS Cotton Merino. Knit 1 round, then work rib = knit 2/purl 2. When piece measures 6 cm, switch to short circular needle or double pointed needles size 4 mm. Knit 1 round and decrease 8-6-8-6-8-4 stitches evenly = 52-54-56-58-60-64 stitches. Insert 1 marker thread at beginning of round = mid under sleeve. Work in stocking stitch in the round. When sleeve measures 8-10-9-7-11-10 cm, increase 1 stitch on each side of marker thread - read INCREASE TIP. Increase like this every 2½-2-2-2-1½-1½ cm 16-17-18-19-20-20 times in total = 84-88-92-96-100-104 stitches. When sleeve measures 49-48-48-47-45-43 cm, work sleeve cap back and forth (from mid under sleeve) on circular needle until finished measurements. Work until sleeve measures approx. 50-50-49-48-47-46 cm i.e. there is a vent of approx. 1-2-1-1-2-3 cm at the top of sleeve. Cast off. Work another sleeve the same way. ASSEMBLY: Sew the shoulder seams. Sew side seams. Sew sleeve cap to armhole. Then sew vent at the top of sleeve to bottom of armhole - see chart. NECK EDGE: Pick up stitches inside 1 stitch from right side on a short circular needle size 3 mm with DROPS Merino Extra Fine or DROPS Cotton Merino. Begin mid back. Pick up approx. 100 to 116 stitches, including stitches from thread (number of stitches must be divisible by with 4). Work rib (knit 2/purl 2) until neck edge measures approx. 4 cm. Cast off stitches with knit over knit and purl over purl. |
