Crochet: Wrist warmers in 108-25

In this DROPS video we show you how to work a wrist warmer. We have already worked 40 chain stitch (ch) and formed a ring with 1 slip stitch (sl st) in first ch. We start video working ch 4, then 1 st in each st as follows: 1 round with treble crochet (tr), 1 round of double crochet (sc), 1 round with tr, 1 round with sc and 1 round tr. (crochet tip: Replace first tr on round with 4 ch and first sc with 1 ch. Finish each round with 1 sl st in first tr/sc from beg of round). Change color and crochet 1 round with sc. Now we crochet after chart starting from the star. REMEMBER - you will also need to read the pattern and look at the chart to be able to follow. To see the pattern, go to: DROPS 108-25

Bonjour Mme Legrand, notez que ce modèle se crochète sur la base de 18 mailles = 10 cm, si vous n'avez pas cet échantillon, il vous faudra alors recalculer les explications sur la base de votre tension - peut-être qu'utiliser un crochet plus petit pourra vous aider. Les coquilles se crochètent chacune sur 8 mailles, il vous faudra donc un multiple de 8. Bon crochet!

Hei Jelena. Disse pulsvarmerene er skrevet for garntykkelsen man finner i garngruppe B, slik at DROPS Snow som tilhører garngruppe E ikke vil passe denne oppskriften. Anbefaler heller å finne oppskrifter som er skrevet for garn i garngruppe E. mvh DROPS Design

Dear Mrs Dayton, please remember to check your gauge, you should have 18tr = 10 cm in width; in this pattern , you firs cast on 40 chains but then you will skip chains evenly so that there will be only 32 sc at the end of the first round (you cast on more chains and skip chains evenly on first row to avoid a tight edge). If your chains are loose enough, you can work the required number of sc (32 sc). Happy crocheting!

The stitches on top of the foot are placed on a thread, while the stitches at the back are kept on the needles and the heel is worked as follows (the heel extends under the foot): 1) The heel is worked back and forth across the heel-stitches to achieve the correct height. For this type of heel, the length reaches midway under the heel. 2) Next, the heel is knitted together beneath the foot. 3) The sock is then continued in the round, with stitches picked up along both sides of the heel length, working towards the toe. 4) This heel creates a square shape, which is why this type of heel is known as a square heel.

In this DROPS video, we show you how to knit a sock with a gusset heel - arguably the most common method for working a heel. To begin, the stitches on top of the foot are placed on a thread, while the stitches at the back are kept on the needles and the heel is worked as follows: 1) The heel is first worked in height, back and forth across the heel-stitches. 2) Next, the bottom of the heel is worked to the required width and length by working short rows and decreasing stitches. 3) Once this step is completed, continue knitting in the round across all stitches, knitting up stitches on both sides of the heel (along the length). 4) The width and shape of the foot is worked by decreasing stitches on both sides, forming a small gusset heel – that is why this type of heel is known as a gusset heel.
