In this DROPS video we show you how to crochet the Winter Fanfare Wrist Warmer in DROPS 108-25. We have already crocheted 40 chain stitch (ch) and formed a ring with 1 slip stitch (sl st) in first ch.

We start video crocheting 4 ch, then 1 st in each st as follows:
1 round with double treble crochet (dtr), 1 round of double crochet (dc), 1 round with dtr, 1 round with dc and 1 round dtr. (crochet tip: Replace first dtr on round with 4 ch and first dc with 1 ch. Finish each round with 1 sl st in first dtr/dc from beg of round).
Change color and crochet 1 round with dc.
Now we crochet after chart starting from the star.

These wrist warmers are made in DROPS Karisma, but in the video we crochet with a thicker yarn, DROPS Snow.

Bonjour Mme Legrand, notez que ce modèle se crochète sur la base de 18 mailles = 10 cm, si vous n'avez pas cet échantillon, il vous faudra alors recalculer les explications sur la base de votre tension - peut-être qu'utiliser un crochet plus petit pourra vous aider. Les coquilles se crochètent chacune sur 8 mailles, il vous faudra donc un multiple de 8. Bon crochet!

Hei Jelena. Disse pulsvarmerene er skrevet for garntykkelsen man finner i garngruppe B, slik at DROPS Snow som tilhører garngruppe E ikke vil passe denne oppskriften. Anbefaler heller å finne oppskrifter som er skrevet for garn i garngruppe E. mvh DROPS Design

Dear Mrs Dayton, please remember to check your gauge, you should have 18tr = 10 cm in width; in this pattern , you firs cast on 40 chains but then you will skip chains evenly so that there will be only 32 sc at the end of the first round (you cast on more chains and skip chains evenly on first row to avoid a tight edge). If your chains are loose enough, you can work the required number of sc (32 sc). Happy crocheting!

In this DROPS video, we show you how to knit a sock with a gusset heel - arguably the most common method for working a heel. To begin, the stitches on top of the foot are placed on a thread, while the stitches at the back are kept on the needles and the heel is worked as follows: 1) The heel is first worked in height, back and forth across the heel-stitches. 2) Next, the bottom of the heel is worked to the required width and length by working short rows and decreasing stitches. 3) Once this step is completed, continue knitting in the round across all stitches, knitting up stitches on both sides of the heel (along the length). 4) The width and shape of the foot is worked by decreasing stitches on both sides, forming a small gusset heel – that is why this type of heel is known as a gusset heel.
