Squares - crochet together

Crochet squares together edge to edge. Crochet 1 sc in the corner of first piece, ch 2, 1 sc in corner on next piece, *ch 4, 1 sc diagonally back in 1st piece, ch 2 across to 2nd piece, 1 sc in 2nd piece*, repeat *-*.

Hello Paola. Join first and second square tog; then just carry on joining third and forth square with the squares you’ve already joined. The dotted line you find in diag. Dear Cindy, you will crochet the mid square to the 2 squares on each side: start at the bottom edge on the right side of mid square and crochet this side to the other side along 1 side (= up to the tip of mid square), then crochet the mid square tog along left side to the next square on the left side. Work from the wrong side, fasten the strand with a single crochet around a decrease in the lace pattern, insert the hook through the garment (from the wrong side to the right side - the strand stays on the wrong side), then insert the hook between the 2 outermost double crochets on the flounce and then back through to the wrong side of the garment, make 1 yarn over and pull the strand through the loops on the hook so the flounce is attached to the yoke *, work 8 chain stitches (on the wrong side of the garment), skip to the next decrease on the garment, insert the hook through the garment (from the wrong side to the right side - the strand stays on the wrong side), then insert the hook between the 6th and 7th double crochet after the last time the flounce was attached to the garment, and then back to the wrong side of the garment, make 1 yarn over and pull the strand through the loops on the hook so the flounce is attached to the yoke *, repeat from *-*. It is important the seam is not tight as this will make the garment less elastic. We use the yarn DROPS Snow in the video.
