In this DROPS video we show how to work after chart A.2 to the Galatea” sweater in DROPS 220-3 and to the “Galatea Cardigan” jacket in DROPS 220-4. We use a much fewer stitches that it says in the pattern and we already worked A.2 1 time in height. We show the beginning in each round. This sweater and jacket are worked with 2 strands from yarn group A, but in the video we use a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow. You must read the pattern and look at the chart to be able to follow this video properly. You’ll find the patterns by clicking on one the picture below.

Hei Lena. Når det tas ut på 1. pinne som det vises i diagrammet og det står at man skal øke på annenhver pinne, vil neste uttagning bli på 3. pinne. Viktig at man ikke blander pinne nr. 2 med annenhver pinne. mvh DROPS Design

Hej når der skal tages henholdsvis 8 og 16 masker ud på hver anden omgang , skal udtagningen være på en bestemt maske, eller bliver det bare ligeligt fordelt? Det er svært at se / få passet ind i mønsteret, synes ikke det passer med maskeantallet.

Hei Lena. Når du strikker etter diagram A. 1 og A.3 ser du hvor det skal økes. Husk å strikk kastene slik det er beskrevet under Diagram, noen kast skal strikkes rett på neste omgang slik at det blir et hull (som danner et hullmønster), mens noen kast skal strikkes vridd rett, slik at det ikke blir hull. mvh DROPS Design

In this DROPS video we show how to work after chart with increases and decreases to make a little knot. This chart is used in the vest «Raspberry Rose» in DROPS 218-17 and the sweater «Raspberry Rose Sweater» in DROPS 218-18. We work 3 garter stitches on each side and mark the 3 icons that makes the knot in purple. Icon 1: Work in the stitch below the next stitch as follows: knit 1, 1 yarn over, knit 1 (= 2 stitches increased). Icon 2: 3 Work stitches in stockinette stitch. Icon 3: Work like this: slip 2 stitches as if to knit together, knit 1 and pass the 2 slipped stitches over the knitted stitch (= 2 stitches decreased). In this DROPS video we show how to work 4 different chart icons. We mark the icons pink before knitting/purling. We work 2 stitches in each side in garter stitch. In some patterns, there may be other charts and similar chart icons, but the technique is almost the same. Chart icon 1: Knit 3 together (= 2 stitches decreased). Chart icon 2: Between 2 stitches make 2 yarn overs; on the next row (wrong side) purl the first yarn over twisted (i.e. the yarn over towards the middle of the diagram); the second yarn over is purled (i.e. the yarn over towards the side) (= 2 stitches increased). Chart icon 3: between 2 stitches make 2 yarn overs; on the next row (wrong side) purl the first yarn over (i.e. the yarn over towards the side), the second yarn over is purled twisted (i.e. yarn over towards the middle of the diagram) (= 2 stitches increased). Chart icon 4: Slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 2 together and pass the slipped stitch over (= 2 stitches decreased). We use the yarn DROPS Snow in the video. In this DROPS video we show how we work an easy lace pattern, that is used in the Warm Bordeaux scarf in DROPS 192-33. We have already cast on 21 stitches (including 1 edge stitch in each side), worked 1 garter stitch and repeated the pattern 3 times. LACE PATTERN: ROW 1 (= right side): Work 1 garter stitch, * knit 2 together, 1 yarn over *, work from *-* until there are 2 stitches left, knit 2. ROW 2 (= wrong side): Knit 1, purl until there is 1 stitch left, knit 1. ROW 3: Work 1 garter stitch, knit 1, * knit 2 together, 1 yarn over *, work from *-* until there is 1 stitch left, knit 1.
