How to knit a knot over 3 stitches

In this DROPS video we show how we knit a knot over 3 stitches, which is used in the jacket in DROPS 186-16. Work 3 stitches as follows without dropping them off left needle: Purl 3 together, knit 3 together, purl 3 together, then drop stitches off left needle We use the yarn DROPS Snow in the video. You must read the pattern and look at the chart (if there is) to be able to follow this video properly. You’ll find a pattern with this technique by clicking on one of the pictures below.

DROPS Design :

Dear Rukh, as you increase afeter each marker thread, every time you increase, there will be 1 more stitch between 2 marker threads; you first insert 20 marker threads with 3 sts between each marker thread, then increase after each marker thread = 20 sts increased and now there are 4 sts between each marker thread. DROPS Design :

Dear Rukh, in size M you have 20 marker threads and increase 1 stitch after each marker thread, just as shown here, you will work 1 knot at each marker thread (the 3 sts for the knot are the stitch with marker + the next 2 sts) - see how to work such a knot over 3 sts here. Happy knitting!

In this DROPS video we show how to work a rib with knit 1, purl 1 on circular needle. Working a rib gives an elastic piece that is great for cuffs and edges.
