For that purpose, each of our patterns has specific tutorial videos to help you, which you will find at the bottom of the page.

We have also step-by-step lessons to help you understand some of the techniques we use in our patterns. You'll find them here!

NOTE: This pattern is written in American English. All measurements in charts are in cm. For conversion from inches to cm - click here. There are different terms for crocheting in American and British English. If this pattern includes crochet, click for "crochet terms" here. For this pattern in British English, please click here.
PATTERN:
See diagrams A.1 to A.3. Diagram A.2 shows how round beg and ends.

TR-GROUP:
1 tr in back loop of first/next dc but wait with last pull through, work 1 tr in each of the next 3 dc the same way, pull yarn through all 5 sts on hook

REVERSE CROCHET:
Work as sc but backwards. I.e. crochet around from left to right

CROCHET INFO:
Beg every round with dc with 3 ch (do not replace first dc) and finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch at beg of round.
Beg every sc round with 1 ch (this does not replace first sc) and finish with 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round.

DECREASE TIP:
Dec 1 dc by working the next 2 dc tog as follows: Work 1 dc but wait with last pull through (= 2 sts on hook), then work next dc but on last pull through, pull yarn through all 3 sts on hook.

INCREASE TIP:
Inc 1 dc by working 2 dc in same dc.
----------------------------------------------------------

BERET:
The piece is worked top down. Work 4 ch on hook size 4 mm / G/6 with Lima and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. Then work A.1 as follows (repeat A.1 5 times in total on round):

ROUND 1: A.2 shows how round beg and ends - READ CROCHET INFO. Work 10 dc in ch-ring.
ROUND 2: Work 2 dc in back loop of every dc = 20 dc.
ROUND 3: Work * 2 dc in back loop of first dc, 1 dc in back loop of next dc *, repeat from *-* 10 times in total = 30 dc.
ROUND 4: Work * 1 dc in both loops in first dc, ch 1, 1 dc in both loops in same dc, ch 4, skip 2 dc, 1 sc in next dc, ch 4, skip 2 dc *, repeat from *-* 5 times in total.
ROUND 5: Work * 1 sc around ch (= ch between dc from previous round), ch 3, 1 sc around same ch, 8 ch, skip: 4 ch + 1 sc + 4 ch *, repeat from *-* 5 times in total.
ROUND 6: Work * 7 dc around first/next ch-space (= space with 3 ch), ch 4, 1 sc around next ch-space (= space with 8 ch), 4 ch *, repeat from *-* 5 times in total.
ROUND 7: Work * 1 sc in middle dc in dc-group (= 4th dc), ch 4, 7 dc in next sc, 4 ch *, repeat from *-* 5 times in total. REMEMBER THE CROCHET GAUGE!
ROUND 8: Work * 4 dc around ch-space, 1 dc in back loop of each of the 7 dc from dc-group, 4 dc around next ch-space *, repeat from *-* 5 times in total = 75 dc.
ROUND 9: On this round work all dc in back loop of dc from previous round: Work * 2 dc in first dc, 1 dc in each of the next 14 dc *, repeat from *-* 5 times in total = 80 dc.
ROUND 10: Work * 1 dc in both loops of first/next dc, ch 4, skip 3 dc *, repeat from *-* 20 times in total.
ROUND 11: Work * ch 1, 4 dc around first/next ch-space *, repeat from *-* 20 times in total = 80 dc and 20 ch.
ROUND 12: Work * ch 3, 1 TR-GROUP – see explanation above – over the next 4 dc, ch 6, 1 tr-group over the next 4 dc, ch 6, 1 tr-group over the next 4 dc, ch 6, 1 tr-group over the next 4 dc, 3 ch *, repeat from *-* 5 times in total = 20 tr-groups with 6 ch between each.
ROUND 13: Work 3 dc around first ch-space, 6 dc around each of the next 19 ch-space, 3 dc around last ch-space = 120 dc.

Then work piece with dc in back loop as follows:
ROUND 1: Work 1 dc in every dc.
ROUND 2: Work 1 dc in every dc AT THE SAME TIME dec 3 dc evenly READ DECREASE TIP = 117 dc.
ROUND 3: Work 1 dc in every dc but work every 12th and 13th dc tog = 108 dc.
ROUND 4: Work 1 dc in every dc but work every 11th and 12th dc tog = 99 dc.
ROUND 5: Work 1 dc in every dc AT THE SAME TIME dec 11-5 dc evenly = 88-94 dc.
ROUND 6-9: Work 1 dc in every dc.
ROUND 10: Work with a double thread. Work REVERSE CROCHET – see explanation above – the entire round. Fasten off.
----------------------------------------------------------

NECK WARMER:
Worked in the round from the middle of neck warmer and down with dc and A.3, then worked from ch-row and up with A.3.

Work 96-104 LOOSE ch on hook size 5 mm / H/8 with Lima and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. Work 3 ch – READ CROCHET INFO, 1 dc in every ch, finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch on round = 96-104 dc. Work 1 dc in back loop of every dc. When piece measures 7 cm / 2¾'', inc 8 dc evenly - READ INCREASE TIP = 104-112 dc. Repeat inc when piece measures 10-12 cm / 4"-4 3/4" = 112-120 dc. REMEMBER THE CROCHET GAUGE! Continue with 1 dc in back loop of every dc until piece measures 14-16 cm / 5½"-6 1/4''.

Then work A.3 as follows:
ROUND 1: A.2 shows how round beg and ends. Work * 1 dc in both loops in first/next dc, ch 4, skip 3 ch *, repeat from *-* the entire round (= 28-30 times in total).
ROUND 2: Work 4 dc in every ch-space = 112-120 dc.
ROUND 3: Work * ch 2, 1 TR-GROUP – see explanation above – over the next 4 dc, ch 4, 1 tr-group over the next 4 dc, 2 ch *, repeat from *-* the entire round (= 14-15 times in total) = 28-30 tr-groups.
ROUND 4: Work 2 dc around first ch-space, 4 dc around every ch-space until 1 ch-space remains, 2 dc around last ch-space = 112-120 dc.
ROUND 5: Work 1 dc in back loop of every dc = 112-120 dc.
ROUND 6: Work * 1 dc in back loop of first/next dc, ch 1, skip 1 dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 56-60 dc and 56-60 ch.
ROUND 7: Work 1 dc in back loop of every dc and 1 dc around every ch = 112-120 dc.
ROUND 8: Work * 1 dc in both loops of first/next dc, ch 3, skip 3 dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round (= 28-30 times in total).
ROUND 9: Work * 1 sc in first/next dc, 5 dc in middle ch in ch-space *, repeat from *-* the entire round (= 28-30 times in total). Fasten off.

Then work A.3 in ch-ring (= 96-104 ch) in opposite direction as follows:
ROUND 1: Work * 1 dc in both loops of first/next, ch 4, skip 3 ch *, repeat from *-* the entire round (= 24-26 times in total).
ROUND 2: Work 4 dc in every ch-space = 96-104 dc.
ROUND 3: Work * ch 2, 1 tr-group over the next 4 dc, ch 4, 1 tr-group over the next 4 dc, 2 ch *, repeat from *-* the entire round (= 12-13 times in total) = 24-26 tr-groups.
