CROCHET INFO:
ROUNDS WITH DC: Beg every dc round with ch 3, finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round (these ch are not counted in no of dc).
ROUNDS WITH SC: Beg every sc round with ch 1, finish with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round (this ch is not count in no of sc).

COLORS:
ROUND 1 to 6: Red
ROUND 7 to 8: Raspberry
ROUND 9: Light mint green
ROUND 10 and assembly: Opal green
Seeds: Black

STRAP:
1 ch, * 1 sc in front part of 1st sc from hook, 1 ch *, repeat from *-* until strap measures 6 cm / 2 3/8''.

POT HOLDER:
Work with Paris on hook size 3 mm / C - read explanation on COLORS above. Work 4 ch with red and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: READ CROCHET INFO! - see explanation above Work 10 dc in ch-ring.
ROUND 2: Work 2 sc in every st = 20 sc.
ROUND 3: * 2 dc in first st, 1 dc in next st *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 30 dc.
ROUND 4: * 2 sc in first st, 1 sc in each of the next 2 sts *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 40 sc.
ROUND 5: * 2 dc in first st, 1 dc in each of the next 3 sts *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 50 dc.
ROUND 6: * 2 sc in first st, 1 sc in each of the next 4 sts *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 60 sc.
ROUND 7: * 2 dc in first st, 1 dc in each of the next 5 sts *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 70 dc.
ROUND 8: * 2 sc in first st, 1 sc in each of the next 6 sts *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 80 sc.
ROUND 9: * 2 dc in first st, 1 dc in each of the next 7 sts *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 90 dc.
ROUND 10: * 2 sc in first st, 1 sc in each of the next 8 sts *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 100 sc. Fasten all strands.
Work 3 more pot holders the same way.

SEED STITCHES:
Embroider seeds with black on both pot holders with chain stitches placed as follows:
ROUND 4: 1 stitch in the middle of each double sc = 10 stitches around.
ROUND 6: 1 stitch between 2nd and 3rd sc after each double sc = 10 stitches around.

ASSEMBLY:
Place 2 pot holders tog, WS against WS. Work them tog by insert hook through both pot holders at the same time as follows: Work 2 sc in first st, 1 sc through each of the next 9 sc, work STRAP - see explanation above, skip 1 st, 1 sc through each of the next 9 sc, * 2 sc in next sc, 1 sc through each of the next 9 sc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 110 sc, piece measures approx. 18 cm / 7'' in diameter. Fasten off.
Then crochet tog the 2 last pot holders.

Hallo, reicht die angegebene Menge Garn (300 g) nur für 1 doppelten Topflappen? Oder bekommt man 2 doppelte Topflappen = 1 Paar mit den 300 g? Vielen Dank im Voraus und viele Grüße

Ich habe die Topflappen nachgearbeitet. Sie sehen toll aus. Ein Geschenk für meine Kinder. Schade, daß man kein Foto hoch laden kann. Danke für das Muster und die schöne Wolle.

My grandmother made me some of these in the 70's when I got married. She also made half-circle ones. I always loved them and even more since grandma is passed on. I still have them.
