REMOVABLE COLLAR IN ANGORA-TWEED:

Gauge: 20 sts x 26 rows on larger needles in stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm [4" x 4"].

Rib: * K 2, P 2 *. Repeat * - *.

Garter Stitch, when knitting flat: Knit all sts, all rows.
Garter Stitch, when knitting in the round: *Rnd 1, knit. Rnd 2, purl *. Repeat from * - *.

Yoke front: Cast on 54 sts on larger needles and knit 6 rows garter st. Change to stockinette st over the center 48 sts, keep 3 sts garter st on each side throughout. When the work measures 11 cm [4.25"] bind off the center 20 sts for the neck. Knit each shoulder separately from here on.

Right shoulder: Bind off at the neck edge every other row: 2 sts 2 times, 1 st 2 times. When the work measures 17 cm [6.75"] attach a marker = center of the shoulder - measure the work from here. When the work measures 1 cm [3/8"] inc 1 st at the neck edge every other row 2 times.

Left shoulder: Knit like the right, reversing neck shaping.

Yoke back: Cast on 28 sts between the 2 shoulder pieces = 54 sts on the needles. Continue in stockinette st over the center 48 sts and garter st over the 3 edge sts on each side. When the work measures 17 cm [6.75"] from the markers knit 6 rows garter st and bind off.

Neck: Pick up approx. 100 sts around the neck on smaller double pointed needles from the right side and purl 1 row, knit 1 row, then knit 11 cm [4.25"] rib. Bind off loosely in rib.

HAT IN KARISMA SUPERWASH:

Sizes: Small/medium (Medium/Large)

Materials: Garnstudio KARISMA SUPERWASH,
100% superwash wool, 50 g./110 m./120 yards
100 (100) g color no. 53, coal gray

DROPS double pointed needles 3,5 mm and 3 mm [US 4 and 2].

Gauge: 22 sts x 30 rows on larger needles in stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm [4" x 4"].

Rib: * K 2, P 2 *. Repeat from * - *.

Hat: Cast on 156 (160) sts on smaller double pointed needles; join and place a marker at the join. Knit 8 cm [3-1/8"] rib. Place a marker and now measure from here!
Change to larger double pointed needles and knit stockinette st, decreasing 42 (40) sts evenly distributed on the 1st row = 114 (120) sts. When the work measures 10 (12) cm [4" (4.75"] (from marker) attach a marker after every 6th st. On the next row, knit the 2 sts after the markers together. Repeat this decrease every 6th row until 19 (20) sts remain. On the next row, K 2 tog across the row (the number of sts is halved). Then pull a doubled strand of yarn through these sts and tie off the strand.

This pattern has been corrected. .

Thanks for your prompt response to my earlier question. I have completed that step and now am unsure of the instructions starting with **. Bind off at the neck edge every other row: 2 sts 2 times, 1 st 2 times. **When the work measures 17 cm attach a marker = center of the shoulder - measure the work from here. When the work measures 1 cm inc 1 st at the neck edge every other row 2 times.

DROPS Design 13.03.2019 kl. 15:23:

Dear Paulette, when pattern measures 1 cm from marker, you will now increase towards neck 2 sts every other row, ie at the end of each row towards neck cast on 2 sts, turn and work row back over all sts, turn, work next row and cast on 2 sts at the end of row towards neck. Happy knitting!

Paulette 13.03.2019 - 01:18:

I don’t understand this step in the pattern. “Right shoulder: Bind off at the neck edge every other row: 2 sts 2 times, 1 st 2 times.” Could you please clarify?

DROPS Design 13.03.2019 kl. 08:09:

Dear Paulette, bind off at the beginning of every row from neck towards shoulder: 2 sts 2 times and 1 st 2 times, ie at the beg of row starting from neck cast off the first 2 sts, work row to the end, turn, work return row, turn, repeat the last 2 rows one more time, then repeat these 2 rows 2 more times but binding off only 1 st at the beg of row from neck. Happy knitting!

Hvor kan jeg få fat i Karisma Angora-Tweed ?????

Diane 02.04.2016 - 02:48:

Bon tricot !
