I agree with other posters. Without a stitch count at the end of each row, this pattern is very hard to follow.

Hi! How many double crochet i have to make on the second round after i form the ring? can you show the exact number how many sticht i need to make in each round? - Thank you :)
26.03.2022 - 12:03DROPS Design answered:
Dear Methida, we don't make personalised patterns. In the first round, you work 12 double crochet (6 repeats of A.1). From the 2nd row on, you work 6 repeats of A.1, A.2. You can check the following lesson on how to read crochet diagrams: https://www.garnstudio.com/lesson.php?id=69&cid=19 Happy crochetting!

Runde häkeln Sie (A.2, A.1), dann bei der 3. Runde häkeln Sie (3 Lm, 1 Stb in die 3 Lm von Anfang der vorrigen Runde) = A.2, und (1 Stb in das nächste Stb, 2 Stb in das nächste Stb und 1 Stb in das nächste Stb) und so A.2 und A.1 wiederholen (bei den nächsten A.2 häkeln Sie 1 Stb anstatt die 3 Lm).

Is there a way for me to get the whole pattern written out i dont understand the chart/diagram
23.07.2021 - 22:21DROPS Design answered:
Dear Samantha, there is no written out pattern, only the charts, not only because our patterns are available in many languagaes, but also because we believe that with charts you not only see the very next stitches, but also how the stitches and rows relate to each other "en large". However we have a leasson on how to read charts HERE, and you can always ask for help (either in person, or over the phone) in the store where you bought your DROPS yarn from. Happy Stitching!

18.07.2021 - 08:53DROPS Design answered:
Hej Sandra, jo du starter med 2x6=12, så 4x6=24, så 6x6=36, så 8x6= 48 osv :)

Hi, in section A4, i have just finished row 6 (working up from the bottom) but I don’t know how to transition from the slip stitch into the treble that starts row 6 to the chain two that starts row 7, as the pattern seems to show the starting chain two skips over the stitch I’ve slip stitched into to finish round 6. Can you help please?
29.06.2021 - 21:28DROPS Design answered:
Dear Kelly, at the beg of 7th row, crochet 3 chains, then 2 chains, continue diagram and finish with 1 slip stitch in the 3rd chain from beg of round. Happy crocheting!

Crocheted hat in DROPS Bomull-Lin or DROPS Paris. Piece is crocheted top down with treble crochets and lace pattern.
DROPS 199-14 |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
---------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATION FOR THE PATTERN: ---------------------------------------------------------- PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 to A.4. CROCHET INFORMATION: Replace first treble crochet on round with 3 chain stitches. Finish round with 1 slip stitch in third chain stitch from beginning of round. (When A.2 is repeated, work the 3 chain stitches as 1 treble crochet). DECREASE TIP: Decrease 1 treble crochet by working the next 2 treble crochets together as follows: Work 1 treble crochet but wait with last pull through (= 2 loops on hook), then work next treble but now pull last yarn over through all 3 loops on hook. INCREASE TIP: Increase 1 treble crochet by working 2 treble crochets in same treble crochet. ---------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ---------------------------------------------------------- HAT - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: Work in the round top down. HAT: Work 4 chain stitches on hook size 3.5 mm with Bomull-Lin or Paris and form a ring with 1 slip stitch in first chain stitch. Read CROCHET INFO! Work * A.2, A.1 *, work from *-* 6 times in total in width (there are no stitches in A.2 on first round). REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! When A.1 and A.2 have been worked vertically, there are 90 treble crochets on round. Work 1st round in A.3 and repeat this round until piece measures approx. 16 cm from the top and down. Work last round in A.3 (= eyelet row). Then work brim as explained below: BRIM: Work A.4 in the round (= 10 repetitions of 9 stitches). When A.4 has been worked vertically, there are 210 stitches on round. Place a thin steel wire along the edge of brim. Work 1 double crochet in every treble crochet the entire round while AT THE SAME TIME working around steel wire. This is done to make the hat more stiff along the edge. Adjust the length on wire according to desired measurements on brim. Twine the steel wire ends together and hide them in the stitches. Cut and fasten the yarn. |
