Bon crochet!

Thank you for your quick response. I have one more question, in American English, what is the category weight of the yarn you used? I will need to figure out what hook size to use too.
08.05.2017 - 21:06DROPS Design answered:
Dear Diabe! DROPS Cotton Merino used in this pattern is from Yarn Group: B (20 - 22 stitches) / 8 ply / DK / worsted. Weight/yardage: 1.8 oz (50 g) = approx 120 yds (110 m). You will need CROCHET HOOK size 3.5 mm/E/4. Happy crocheting!

Am I to understand that to make this beautiful poncho, I have to follow the directions and mainly the chart? The pattern is not written by rows?
08.05.2017 - 19:33DROPS Design answered:
Hi Diane! You have to follow both the pattern and the chart. Happy crocheting!

This pattern seems to be easy at the first read but in right shoulder 2nd rows, something undertandable : seems to say 1A1 (3ch first dc - 1dc); several A2 regarding size wanted (dc in each * dc) and a4 dc in each 9 last dc. Is it just 1 dc in each dc ? because when I read the explanation, looking my project, it's in fact the things I understand. So why not to say that in a more understable way. If it's not the way to work, please can you explain more clearly. Thanks
24.04.2017 - 12:44DROPS Design answered:
Dear Evane, you understand it correctly. Since the first row of A.4 is made up of just trebles (UK) / dc (US), you should crochet one tr/dc in each stitch on the last 9 stitch. I hope this helps, Happy crocheting!
