Bon crochet!

I want to make the solid and mesh sections in 2 different colours. What proportion of each colour do I need? Thank you

Dear Irene, this pattern has been worked with only one colour so that we do not have the experience with 2 colours. Remember your DROPS Store can help you, even per mail or telephone. Happy crocheting!

What is 6-2-2? or 5-4-4 dc? or 6-5-5? for a novice like my self this is perplexing. Is this double crochet 6 skip 2 chain 2? I have worked my piece a couple of ways with no luck. And, no. I will not be going to Hobby Lobby to try to get the answer. Thanks so much.
18.04.2017 - 15:17DROPS Design answered:
Dear Octavia, each number refer to the size, this poncho is in 3 sizes, in the 1st size, you will crochet first number (= 6, 5, 5 in your example), in the 2nd size you will crochet the 2nd number (= 2, 4, 5 in your example) and in the last size, you will crochet the last number (= 2, 4, 5 in your example). Happpy crocheting!

Buonasera Antonella. Deve iniziare a lavorare in tondo dopo la prima riga a maglia alte. Buon lavoro!

Lm)

Should I be joining the ends of the foundation chain before the first dc row? If not, at what point do I join in order to work the pattern in the round? Thanks!

Dear Regina, you join in the round at the end of 1st dc row. Happy crocheting!
