Dear Mrs Moore, on round 16, work first 3 tr in first tr then repeat all the round *2 ch, 2 tr in the next tr, 2 ch, 3 tr in the next tr*, ie from *-*. Happy crocheting!

How many yards are in each ball of the alpaca yarn? I looked and can't find that information! I want to make the circle jacket in a size medium.
17.02.2016 - 18:14DROPS Design answered:
Dear Edith, click on the shadecard for Alpaca to get more informations about the yarn. In size S/M, you need 700 g (= 700/50 g a ball= 14 balls) and in size M/L you need 800 g (= 800/50 g a ball ) 16 balls) - see measurement chart to find out the matching size. Happy crocheting!

Dear Mrs Contreras, each 34 ch shape the armhole (while crocheting this chains, you skip sts, this create a hole for sleeves worked from here afterwards). Happy crocheting!

Thanks Donna for your quick replies. You explained very clear but I still don't get it. Do I crochet 1tr and CH 3 in 11 spaces in the CH 34? Then what?
14.02.2016 - 02:13DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Contreras, in size XL, you crochet on round 14 34 ch 2 times for both armholes (work other sts as stated), then on round 15 you crochet 1 tr, 3 ch a total of 11 timess in each of the 34 ch, and as stated under all sts on round. Happy crocheting!

11.02.2016 - 00:24DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Contreras, on round 15, you will crochet in both 34-ch-spaces: *1 tr, 3 ch*, repeat from *-* a total of 11 times and work in sts from round 14, ie over tr between spaces for armhole: 1 tr, *3 ch, skip over 2 tr, 1 tr in the next tr*, finish with a tr in the last tr. ie you will get around: 1 tr in tr from previous round/in chain for armhole + 3 ch (over 2 tr from previous round). Happy crocheting!

What does crochet over chain 34 mean?
10.02.2016 - 22:05DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Contreras, these 34 chains are worked to create a hole for sleeve, at the same time, skip (3tr, 2 ch) a total of 8 times and continue as before. At the end of the round, you will have 2 holes where you will then work sleeves from. Happy crocheting!
11.02.2016 - 10:18
Donna wrote:
14th round: 34 ch, skip over (3 tr and 2 ch) a total of 8. this is for the xl size. Does this mean that you have 8 chains of 34?
10.02.2016 - 20:47DROPS Design answered:
Dear Donna, the 34 ch will replace the (3tr and 2 ch) x 8 that you will skip, continue then as before. Happy crocheting!
