Hallo Kann man die Anleitung des Strickmusters nicht einfacher erklären? Es gibt Menschen die das nicht verstehen. Etwas unverständlich erklärt finde ich nicht gut.

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 and A.2. The diagrams show the pattern from the right side. DECREASE TIP-1: All decreases are worked from the right side! Decrease 1 stitch on each side of the piece as follows: Work 2 stocking stitches, slip 1 stitch knit-wise, knit 1, pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch, work pattern as before until there are 4 stitches left, knit 2 together, work 2 stocking stitches (2 decreased stitches). DECREASE TIP-2 (for sleeves): Start 3 stitches before the marker-thread, knit 2 together, knit 2 (marker-thread sits between these 2 stitches), slip 1 stitch knit-wise, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch. KNITTING TIP: When working short rows, there will be a small hole after each turn. This hole can be closed by tightening the strand or using the technique German Short Rows as follows: Slip the first stitch purl-wise, take the strand over the right needle and tighten well from the back (2 loops on the needle). These loops are worked together on the next row. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- JUMPER – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The pattern uses both long and short needles; start with the length which fits the number of stitches and change when necessary. The piece is worked in the round, from the bottom up as far as the armholes, then divided and the front and back pieces are finished separately, back and forth. The shoulder seams are sewn and stitches knitted up around the armholes. The sleeves are worked in the round, top down. Stitches are knitted up around the neckline and the neck worked in the round to finish. BODY: Cast on 248-268-284-318-354-374 stitches with circular needle size 4 mm and DROPS Sky. Change to circular needle size 3 mm and work rib (knit 1, purl 1) in the round for 5-5-5-6-6-6 cm. Knit 1 round and increase 32-32-36-42-46-46 stitches evenly on the round = 280-300-320-360-400-420 stitches. Insert 1 marker-thread at the beginning of the round. Change to circular needle size 4 mm and work PATTERN – read description above, working A.1 28-30-32-36-40-42 times on the round. Remember to maintain the knitting tension. Continue A.1 until the piece measures 33-34-35-36-37-38 cm – with the next round an odd round in the pattern (so you cable from the right side when working back and forth). Now divide for the front and back pieces. DIVIDE FOR ARMHOLES: Work the next round as follows: Cast off the first 14-4-14-24-24-34 stitches for the armhole, work the next 126-146-146-156-176-176 stitches as before (= front piece), cast off the next 14-4-14-24-24-34 stitches and work the last 126-146-146-156-176-176 stitches (= back piece). The front and back pieces are finished separately, back and forth. BACK PIECE: = 126-146-146-156-176-176 stitches. Continue the pattern back and forth, with the 3 outermost stitches on each side worked in stocking stitch. Decrease for the armholes inside 2 stitches on each side – read DECREASE TIP-1, every 2nd row 4 times on each side, then every 4th row 3 times on each side = 112-132-132-142-162-162 stitches left. Continue back and forth with 11-13-13-14-16-16 cables and 3 stocking stitches on each side. When the piece measures 51-53-55-57-59-61 cm, cast off the middle 44-44-44-54-54-54 stitches for the neckline and finish each shoulder separately. SHOULDERS: Continue back and forth with cables and 3 stocking stitches at the side. AT THE SAME TIME, cast off for the neckline every 2nd row as follows: Cast off 2 stitches 1 time, then 1 stitch 1 time = 31-41-41-41-51-51 shoulder-stitches. Continue back and forth with cables and 3 stocking stitches at the side. Cast off when the piece measures 54-56-58-60-62-64 cm. FRONT PIECE: = 126-146-146-156-176-176 stitches. Work in the same way as the back piece until the front measures 48-50-51-52-53-54 cm. On the next row place the middle 34-34-34-44-44-44 stitches on a thread for the neckline and finish each shoulder separately. SHOULDERS: Continue back and forth with cables and 3 stocking stitches at the side. AT THE SAME TIME, cast off for the neckline every 2nd row as follows: Cast off 2 stitches 3-3-2-1-1-1 times, then 1 stitch 2-2-4-6-6-6 times = 31-41-41-41-51-51 shoulder-stitches. Cast off when the piece measures 54-56-58-60-62-64 cm. ASSEMBLY: Sew the shoulder seams. SLEEVES: The sleeve is worked from the armhole downwards. Use circular needle size 3 mm and begin in the middle of the cast-off stitches under the sleeve. Knit up 84-88-94-98-104-108 stitches around the armhole. Insert 1 marker in the middle of the knitted-up stitches (top of shoulder). Change to circular needle size 4 mm. Work stocking stitch back and forth, with short rows for the sleeve cap, AT THE SAME TIME work A.2 (10 stitches) on top of the sleeve (= 5 stitches on each side of the marker). Start mid-under the sleeve as follows: ROW 1 (right side): Work to 8 stitches past the marker on top of the sleeve, turn – read KNITTING TIP. ROW 2 (wrong side): Work to 8 stitches past the marker, turn. ROW 3 (right side): Work to 2 stitches past the previous turn, turn. ROW 4 (wrong side): Work to 2 stitches past the previous turn, turn. Repeat ROWS 3 and 4 until you have turned a total of 26-22-22-28-26-30 times (13-11-11-14-13-15 times on each side and the last row was from the wrong side). Work back from the right side to the beginning of the round (mid-under sleeve). Insert 1 marker-thread at the beginning of the round, which will be used when decreasing under the sleeve; allow the thread to follow your work onwards. Work in the round with stocking stitch and A.2 as before, AT THE SAME TIME decrease mid under sleeve – read DECREASE TIP-2. When the sleeve measures 1 cm from the join, decrease 2 stitches under the sleeve every 3½-2½-2½-2-1½-1½ cm a total of 11-13-15-16-18-19 times = 62-62-64-66-68-70 stitches. Continue working until the sleeve measures 49-46-47-46-43-44 cm from mid-top of shoulder. Change to double pointed needles size 3 mm. Work rib (knit 1, purl 1), AT THE SAME TIME increase 8-8-10-10-10-10 stitches evenly on the first round = 70-70-74-76-78-80 stitches. When the rib measures 5-5-5-6-6-6 cm, cast off. The sleeve measures approx. 54-51-52-52-49-50 cm from the shoulder. NECK: Using circular needle size 3 mm, knit up stitches around the neck from the right side as follows: Start by one shoulder seam and knit up 110-110-112-130-132-134 stitches around the neckline (including the stitches on the thread) – the stitch count must be divisible by 2. Work rib (knit 1, purl 1) in the round for 10-10-10-11-11-11 cm. Cast off a little loosely. Fold the neck double to the inside and fasten down with a couple of stitches. |
