This pattern is very confusing for those of us who do not read diagrams. Do you have this pattern in a non-diagram format? Thank you!

Where is the diagram A.1 please?
04.08.2018 - 20:33DROPS Design answered:
Dear MariaGR, it is the top chart. The A.1 sign is at the middle of the chart (the middle of the flower). You should start crocheting the shawl here. Happy Crafting!

Hi. Good morning. I have read in response to your previous comments, which will modify the pattern of this shawl to make it clearer. The truth is that I have been weaving my whole life and even following the diagram, I see that parts are missing. The part where he explains it written, in Spanish does not make any sense. Do not marry any part of the diagram. Could you tell me when I will put the modification? The truth is that I urge a lot to do it. I have a wedding in a week and I wish I could d

I am well on the way to finishing the shawl but only because I looked at another pattern where the diagrams were laid out side-by-side. In the case of this shawl, that means, A2a-A2b-A2c-A2b-A2d diagrams would be shown and worked side-by-side in this sequence and line-by-line sequence in the vertical sequence. This would made the directions and pattern clearer. A video was also included in the other pattern showing the progression.

Gracias.

This pattern appears to be missing parts and diagrams 4, 5, and 6. The close up photo of the rows following A1 shows 45 dc's/side followed by a second row of chevron shaped patterns/per side not a second row of 75 dc's/side. I can't complete this shawl without complete instructions.

Dear Mrs Meh, pattern is complete, there is no diagram A.4 to A.6, there will be soon a correction. Work diagrams as explained under written pattern (= just working A.2/A.3). Happy crocheting!

Work chain stitch ring and the first four round in the round, then work the rest of shawl back and forth. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! When entire A.1 has been worked, continue from first row in diagrams as follows: Work A.2a (3 chain stitches = 1 treble and 3 chain stitches), work A.2b 3 repetitions in total in width (i.e. 5 trebles around each of the first 9 chain spaces), work A.2c (= 3 chain stitches), then work the first 5 trebles in A.2b around same chain space (i.e. the middle chain space), then continue with A.2b until 3 repetitions have been worked in total in width (i.e. 5 trebles around each of the next 8 chain spaces), work A.2d around the last chain space = 46 trebles on each side of the middle chain space. Continue back and forth with A.2a to A.2b. When diagrams have been worked vertically, there are 75 trebles on each side of the middle chain space. Now work pattern from first row in diagrams A.2, the same way as before, but work more repetitions in width as follows: Work A.2a (3 chain stitches = 1 treble and 3 chain stitches), work A.2b 15 repetitions in total in width (i.e. 5 trebles around each of the next 45 chain spaces), work A.2c (= 3 chain stitches), then work the first 5 trebles in A.2b around same chain space (i.e. the middle chain space), then continue with A.2b until 15 repetitions have been worked in total in width (i.e. 5 trebles around each of the next 44 chain spaces), work A.2d around the last chain space = 226 trebles on each side of the middle chain space. Continue back and forth with A.2a to A.2d. Finish after 4th row in diagrams. Fasten off. |
