Crochet 5-5 ch on hook size 6 mm with Nepal and form 1 ring with 1 sl st in 1st ch. ROUND 1: 3 ch (= 1 tr), work 11 tr in ch-ring = 12-12 tr, finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round. ROUND 2: 3 ch (= 1 tr), work 1 tr in same tr, then work 2 tr in every tr the entire round, finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round = 24-24 tr. ROUND 3: 3 ch (= 1 tr), 1 tr in same tr, 1 tr in next tr, * 2 tr in next tr, 1 tr in next tr *, repeat from *-* the entire round, finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch on beg of round = 36-36 tr. ROUND 4: 3 ch (= 1 tr), 1 tr in same tr, 1 tr in each of the next 2-1 tr, * 2 tr in next tr, 1 tr in each of the next 2-1 tr *, repeat from *-* the entire round, finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch on beg of round = 48-54 tr. Then work according to diagram A.1, i.e. work as follows: ROUND 1: 4 ch (= 1 dc + 3 ch), * skip 2 tr, 1 dc in next tr, 3 ch *, repeat from *-* the entire round, finish with 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round = 16-18 ch-spaces. ROUND 2: 1 sl st in first ch-space, 2 ch (= 1 htr), 2 tr in same ch-space, 1 htr in same ch-space, * in next ch-space work 1 htr + 2 tr + 1 htr *, repeat from *-* the entire round, finish with 1 sl st in 2nd ch from beg of round = 16-18 tr-groups. ROUND 3: 5 ch (= 1 dc + 4 ch), * skip tr-group, 1 dc in space before next tr-group, 4 ch *, repeat from *-* the entire round, finish with 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round = 16-18 ch-spaces. Repeat rounds 2 and 3 in A.1 until piece measures approx. 21-22 cm (finish after round 3). Then work 2 rounds with dc as follows: SIZE S/M: ROUND 1: 1 ch, * work 3 dc in first ch-space, 4 dc in next ch-space *, repeat from *-* the entire round, finish with 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round = 56 dc on round. SIZE L/XL: ROUND 1: 1 ch, * work 3 dc in first ch-space, 3 dc in next ch-space, 4 dc in next ch-space *, repeat from *-* the entire round, finish with 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round = 60 dc on round. BOTH SIZES: ROUND 2: Work 1 dc in each dc = 56-60 dc. Fasten off. BRIM: Work dc rows back and forth over the middle 30-30 dc on hat (i.e. do not work over the 13-15 dc on each side of beg of round = mid back). When brim measures 5 cm, inc 6 dc evenly by working 2 dc in every 5th dc. Work 1 row over all 36-36 dc, fasten off. Fold one corner of brim up, fasten and then fasten a button for decoration. Do same in the other side. ---------------------------------------------------------- NECK WARMER: Worked in the round, top down. Crochet 87-95-103 loose ch on hook size 6 mm with Nepal and form 1 ring with 1 sl st in 1st ch. ROUND 1: 1 ch, work 1 dc in first ch (i.e. the last ch worked in), then work 1 dc in each of the next 2 ch, * skip 1 ch, 1 dc in each of the next 3 ch *, repeat from *-* the entire round, finish with 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round = 66-72-78 dc. Work next round as follows: 4 ch (= 1 dc + 3 ch), * skip 2 dc, 1 dc in next dc, 3 ch *, repeat from *-* 21-23-25 times in total, skip the last 2 dc and finish with 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round = 22-24-26 ch-spaces. Then work according to diagram A.2, i.e. work as follows: ROUND 1: 1 sl st in first ch-space, 2 ch (= 1 htr), 2 tr in same ch-space, 1 htr in same ch-space, * in next ch-space work 1 htr + 2 tr + 1 htr *, repeat from *-* the entire round, finish with 1 sl st in 2nd ch from beg of round = 22-24-26 tr-groups. ROUND 2: 5 ch (= 1 dc + 4 ch), * skip tr-group, 1 dc in space before next tr-group, 4 ch *, repeat from *-* the entire round, finish with 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round = 22-24-26 ch-spaces. Repeat round 1 and 2 in A.2 until piece measures approx. 12 cm in all sizes – finish after 2nd round (i.e. after a round with ch-spaces). Then work according to diagram A.3, i.e. work as follows: ROUND 1: 1 sl st in first ch-space, 2 ch (= 1 htr), 3 tr in same ch-space, 1 htr in same ch-space, * in next ch-space work 1 htr + 3 tr + 1 htr *, repeat from *-* the entire round, finish with 1 sl st in 2nd ch from beg of round = 22-24-26 tr-groups. ROUND 2: 6 ch (= 1 dc + 5 ch), * skip tr-group, 1 dc in space before next tr-group, 5 ch *, repeat from *-* the entire round, finish with 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round = 22-24-26 ch-spaces. Repeat round 1 and 2 in A.3 until piece measures approx. 24-26-28 cm – finish after 2nd round (i.e. after a round with ch-spaces). Then work according to diagram A.4, i.e. work as follows: ROUND 1: 1 sl st in first ch-space, 2 ch (= 1 htr), 5 tr in same ch-space, 1 htr in same ch-space, * in next ch-space work 1 htr + 5 tr + 1 htr *, repeat from *-* the entire round, finish with 1 sl st in 2nd ch from beg of round = 22-24-26 tr-groups. ROUND 2: 8 ch (= 1 dc + 7 ch), * skip tr-group, 1 dc in space before next tr-group, 7 ch *, repeat from *-* the entire round, finish with 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round = 22-24-26 ch-spaces. Repeat round 1 and 2 in A.4 until piece measures approx. 36-38-40 cm (finish after round 1). Fasten off. |
