Sy kragen langs halsringningen bak i nakken.

INFORMATION FOR PATTERN: MOSS STITCH: ROW 1: * Knit 1, purl 1 *, repeat from *-*. ROW 2: Knit over purl and purl over knit. Repeat 2nd row upwards. BUTTONHOLES: Decrease for buttonholes on right band. 1 BUTTONHOLE = knit third and fourth stitch from edge together and make 1 yarn over. On next row knit yarn over = hole. Decrease for buttonholes when piece measures: S: 24, 33, 42 and 51 cm M: 24, 33, 42 and 51 cm L: 24, 33, 42 and 51 cm XL: 24, 34, 44 and 54 cm XXL: 24, 34, 44 and 54 cm XXXL: 24, 34, 44 and 54 cm ---------------------------------------------------------- JACKET: Worked back and forth on circular needle and sewn together in the side when finished. Stitches for sleeves are picked up in armhole on body and sleeves are worked top down. BACK PIECE: Work piece back and forth on circular needle. Cast on 50-54-58-63-69-75 stitches on circular needle size 9 mm with 1 strand of each yarn (= 2 strands). Work in MOSS STITCH - see explanation above. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When piece measures 52-53-54-55-56-57 cm, cast off 1 stitch in each side (marks armholes) = 48-52-56-61-67-73 stitches. Continue until piece measures 68-70-72-74-76-78 cm. Cast off the middle 10-10-12-13-13-13 stitches for neck and finish each shoulder separately. On next row from the neck, decrease 1 stitch = 18-20-21-23-26-29 stitches remain on shoulder. Loosely cast off all stitches when piece measures 70-72-74-76-78-80 cm. Work the other shoulder the same way. LEFT FRONT PIECE: Work piece back and forth on circular needle. Cast on 30-32-34-37-40-43 stitches on circular needle size 9 mm with 1 strand of each yarn (= 2 strands). Work in MOSS STITCH - see explanation above. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When piece measures 52-53-54-55-56-57 cm, cast off 1 stitch in the side (marks armhole) = 29-31-33-36-39-42 stitches. Continue until piece measures 70-72-74-76-78-80 cm. On next row from right side, cast off the first 18-20-21-23-26-29 stitches (= shoulder) = 11-11-12-13-13-13 stitches remain for collar. Continue with moss stitch over these stitches - AT THE SAME TIME work short rows. Begin from wrong side, the collar should be longest on the side towards the neck, and work as follows: * Work 2 rows moss stitch over all stitches. On next row from wrong side work 5-5-6-7-7-7 stitches in moss stitch, turn and work back *. Repeat from *-* until piece measures 9-9-10-11-11-11 cm from where shoulder was cast off (in the shortest side). Loosely cast off all stitches. RIGHT FRONT PIECE: Cast on and work as left front piece but reversed. Now decrease BUTTONHOLES on band - see explanation above. When working short rows over stitches for collar, begin from right side. ASSEMBLY: Sew the shoulder seams. LEFT SLEEVE: Pick up stitches along the armhole at the top of jacket and work sleeve back and forth on circular needle, top down. Begin where 1 stitch was cast off for armhole on left front piece, and pick up 36-38-40-42-44-46 stitches from right side with 1 strand of each quality ( = 2 strands) on circular needle size 9 mm. Pick up stitches along armhole on front piece and down along armhole on back piece where 1 stitch was cast off for armhole. Work in moss stitch. When sleeve measures 3 cm, decrease 1 stitch in each side of piece. Decrease every 5-4½-4½-3½-3½-3 cm 7-8-8-9-9-10 times in total = 22-22-24-24-26-26 stitches. When piece measures 39-38-37-36-34-32 cm (shorter measurements in the larger sizes because of wider shoulders) knit 1 row while increasing 6-6-8-8-10-10 stitches evenly = 28-28-32-32-36-36 stitches. Switch to circular needle size 8 mm. Work rib knit 2/purl 2 for 10 cm, then cast off with knit over knit and purl over purl, sleeve measures 49-48-47-46-44-42 cm in total. RIGHT SLEEVE: Work as left sleeve but begin on back piece. Pick up stitches along armhole on back piece and down along armhole on front piece where 1 stitch was cast off for armhole. ASSEMBLY - 2: Sew side and sleeve seams in one in outer loops of edge stitch. Sew band tog mid back for collar. Sew collar along neckline in the back of neck. Sew the buttons on to the left band. POCKETS: Worked back and forth. Cast on 20 stitches with 1 strand of each quality (= 2 strands) on circular needle size 9 mm. Work moss stitch until piece measures 14 cm. Switch to circular needle size 8 mm. On next row from right side work rib knit 2/purl 2, AT THE SAME TIME increase 6 stitches evenly on row = 26 stitches (finish rib with knit 2). Work rib for 4 cm, then cast off with knit over knit and purl over purl. Knit another pocket. Sew on pockets, approx. 6 cm from bottom edge and approx. 6 cm from mid front (see photo). |
