Buongiorno.

A.2/A.4 = 16x 7.5= 120 cm / 2 = ca 60 cm. So sollte Ihre Maschenprobe stimmen, dann stimmen die fertigen Maßnahmen. Viel Spaß beim Stricken!

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 to A.4. If there are too few stitches to cable or for a complete repeat of the pattern, work the stitches in stocking stitch until there are enough (unless shown differently in the diagrams). The diagrams show the pattern from the right side. The diagrams are worked from right to left when working from the right side and left to right when working from the wrong side. INCREASE TIP-1: INCREASE 1 STITCH TOWARDS LEFT – from RIGHT SIDE: Use the left needle to pick up the strand between 2 stitches from the row below, pick up the strand from the front and knit through the stitch-loop that lies on the back of the needle. INCREASE 1 STITCH TOWARDS THE RIGHT- from RIGHT SIDE: Use the left needle to pick up the strand between 2 stitches from the row below, pick up the strand from the back and knit through the stitch-loop that lies on the front of the needle. Work the new stitches into the pattern. INCREASE TIP-2: INCREASE 1 STITCH TOWARDS THE RIGHT- from WRONG SIDE: Use the left needle to pick up the strand between 2 stitches from the row below, pick up the strand from the back and purl through the stitch-loop that lies on the front of the needle. INCREASE 1 STITCH TOWARDS LEFT – from WRONG SIDE: Use the left needle to pick up the strand between 2 stitches from the row below, pick up the strand from the front and purl through the stitch-loop that lies on the back of the needle. Work the new stitches into the pattern. SLEEVE TIP: When knitting up stitches under the sleeve, you can be left with a small hole in the transition between the stitches on the body and sleeve. This hole can be closed by picking up the strand between 2 stitches and working this strand twisted together with the first stitch between body and sleeve. DECREASE TIP: Decrease 1 stitch on each side of A.4x under the sleeve as follows: Work until there are 2 stitches left before A.4x, knit 2 together, knit A.4x across the next 9 stitches, slip 1 stitch knit-wise, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch (2 stitches decreased). ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- JUMPER – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE. The pattern uses both long and short needles; start with the length which fits the number of stitches and change when necessary. If there is a «0» in your chosen size, skip the information and go straight to the next instruction. Work according to points 1 – 5. 1. BACK PIECE: Cast on stitches for the back of the neck. Work the back piece back and forth, top down, increasing stitches on each side until the shoulder stitch-count has been achieved. The back piece has slightly diagonal shoulders. Work to the correct length. 2. FRONT PIECE: Worked in 2 sections (each side of neck). Start by knitting up stitches along one back shoulder, working pattern downwards and increasing for the neckline. Repeat on the other shoulder. Stitches are cast on for the neckline and the 2 shoulders are joined for the front piece which is worked to the correct length. 3. YOKE: Place all the stitches on the same circular needle, work first the front piece, knit up stitches for one sleeve along the side of the front and back pieces, work the back piece, knit up stitches for the second sleeve along the other side of the front and back pieces. The yoke is continued in the round. 4. INCREASE FOR BODY AND SLEEVES: While continuing the yoke, stitches are increased on the body and sleeves. 5. BODY AND SLEEVES: When the increases and the yoke are finished, the yoke is divided for the body and sleeves. The body is finished in the round while the sleeves wait. Then the sleeves are worked in the round, top down. Stitches are knitted up around the neckline and the neck is worked in the round to finish. ------------------------------------------------------- BACK PIECE: The piece is worked back and forth on circular needle. Cast on 47 stitches in all sizes with circular needle size 4.5 mm and DROPS Karisma. Purl 1 row from the wrong side. Now work PATTERN back and forth, increasing as follows – read INCREASE TIP-1 and INCREASE TIP-2: NOTE: From the right side, increase towards the left at the beginning of the row and towards the right at the end of the row. From the wrong side, increase towards the right at the beginning of the row and towards the left at the end of the row. ROW 1 (right side): Work A.1, A.2, A.3 (2 increased stitches). ROW 2 (wrong side): Work A.3, A.2, A.1 (2 increased stitches). AFTER ROW 2: Work ROWS 1 and 2 a total of 13-13-13-15-15-15-15 times (26-26-26-30-30-30-30 rows worked). In the 3 smallest sizes work up to and including the row marked with an arrow, in the 4 largest sizes work the whole diagram (applies to A.1 and A.3) = 99-99-99-107-107-107-107 stitches. Remember to maintain the knitting tension. Cut the strand and place the stitches on a stitch holder. Insert 1 marker outermost on one side; the piece is now measured from here. The pattern is now established on the back piece. Work 14-14-14-10-10-10-10 rows back and forth, with 5-5-5-9-9-9-9 stocking stitches on each side and without increasing, finishing with the last row in A.2. The piece measures approx. 15 cm from the cast-on edge and 5-5-5-4-4-4-4 cm from the marker in the side. Cut the strand, place the stitches on a stitch holder. LEFT SHOULDER: Find the left back shoulder as follows: Lay the back piece flat, right side up, with the stitch holder/thread towards you; left side of piece = left shoulder. Start from the right side by the neck on the left back shoulder and knit up 3 stitches outermost on the cast-on edge - see star in diagram A.1, then knit up 1 stitch in each row worked inside the outermost stitch as far as the armhole (26-26-26-30-30-30-30 stitches), finish by knitting up 1 stitch outermost on the shoulder (edge stitch) = 30-30-30-34-34-34-34 shoulder-stitches. Insert 1 marker by the neck. All measurements on the front piece are taken from this marker measured in the knitting direction. Work the first row from the wrong side as follows: Purl 5-5-5-9-9-9-9, knit 1, purl 1 twisted, knit 1, purl 7, knit 1, purl 1 twisted, knit 1, purl 6, knit 1, purl 1 twisted, knit 1, purl 3. Continue with pattern A.2 as follows: ROW 1 (right side): Knit 3, work A.2 until there are 5-5-5-9-9-9-9 stitches left on the row, knit 5-5-5-9-9-9-9. ROW 2 (wrong side): Purl 5-5-5-9-9-9-9, continue the pattern until there are 3 stitches left, purl 3. When the piece measures 4-5-6-7-8-9-10 cm, increase for the neckline as follows (make a note of which row this is, so you begin on the same row on the right shoulder). Work as follows: ROW 1 (right side): Remember INCREASE TIP-1. Knit 3, increase 1 stitch towards the left, continue the pattern until there are 5-5-5-9-9-9-9 stitches left, knit 5-5-5-9-9-9-9. ROW 2 (wrong side): Purl 5-5-5-9-9-9-9, continue the pattern until there are 3 stitches left, purl 3. The increased stitches are worked in stocking stitch; they are subsequently worked into the pattern when the neckline increases are finished. AFTER ROW 2: Work ROWS 1 and 2 a total of 5 times (10 rows worked) = 35-35-35-39-39-39-39 stitches. The neckline increases are finished. The piece measures approx. 8-9-10-11-12-13-14 cm from the marker. 2 cm of the neckline depth will lie on the back piece. Place the stitches on a stitch holder. Work the right shoulder along the right back shoulder as follows. RIGHT SHOULDER: Start from the right side by the armhole on the right back shoulder and knit up 1 stitch outermost on the shoulder (edge stitch), knit up 1 stitch in each row worked, inside the outermost stitch as far as the neck (26-26-26-30-30-30-30 stitches), finish by knitting up 3 stitches in the cast-on edge - see star in diagram A.3= 30-30-30-34-34-34-34 shoulder-stitches. Insert 1 marker by the neck. All measurements on the front piece are taken from this marker measured in the knitting direction. Work the first row from the right side as follows: Purl 3, knit 1, purl 1 twisted, knit 1, purl 6, knit 1, purl 1 twisted, knit 1, purl 7, knit 1, purl 1 twisted, knit 1, purl 5-5-5-9-9-9-9. Continue working pattern A.4 as follows: ROW 1 (right side): Knit 5-5-5-9-9-9-9, work A.4 until there are 3 stitches left, knit 3. ROW 2 (wrong side): Purl 3, continue the pattern until there are 5-5-5-9-9-9-9 stitches left, purl 5-5-5-9-9-9-9. When the piece measures 4-5-6-7-8-9-10 cm, increase for the neckline as follows (make sure this is the same row as on the left shoulder). Work as follows: ROW 1 (right side): Knit 5-5-5-9-9-9-9, continue A.4 until there are 3 stitches left, increase 1 stitch towards the right, knit 3 – remember INCREASE TIP-1. ROW 2 (wrong side): Purl 3, continue the pattern until there are 5-5-5-9-9-9-9 stitches left, purl 5-5-5-9-9-9-9. FRONT PIECE: On the next row (right side), join the front shoulders for the front piece as follows: Continue the pattern across the 35-35-35-39-39-39-39 stitches on the right shoulder, cast on 29 stitches, continue the pattern across the 35-35-35-39-39-39-39 stitches on the left shoulder = 99-99-99-107-107-107-107 stitches. The pattern will fit across the cast-on stitches on the neckline. Continue A.4 across all stitches with 5-5-5-9-9-9-9 stocking stitches on each side. Continue this pattern back and forth until A.2/A.4 has been worked a total of 5 times in height from the knitted up row on the shoulder, finishing with the last row in A.4. The piece measures approx. 19 cm. Cut the strand. The front and back pieces are now joined and stitches are knitted up for the sleeves as follows. ROW 1 (right side): Knit the first stitch on the back piece (this stitch belongs to the sleeve), insert 1 marker, continue stocking stitch and pattern until there is 1 stitch left on the back piece, insert 1 marker, knit the last stitch on the back piece (belongs to the sleeve), knit up 59 stitches along the side of the back and right front piece, knitting up inside the outermost stitch (= sleeve-stitches), knit the first stitch on the front piece (belongs to the sleeve), insert 1 marker, continue stocking stitch and pattern until there is 1 stitch left on the front piece, insert 1 marker, knit the last stitch on the front piece (belongs to the sleeve), knit up 59 stitches along the side of the left front piece and back piece, knitting up inside the outermost stitch (= sleeve-stitches) = 316-316-316-332-332-332-332 stitches. Knit 1, so the round begins by the marker in the transition between the back piece and the left sleeve. There is 1 marker in each transition between the body and the sleeves, with 97-97-97-105-105-105-105 stitches on the front and back pieces and 61 stitches on each sleeve = 316-316-316-332-332-332-332 stitches. . YOKE: The yoke is continued in the round with stocking stitch and pattern, establishing the pattern on the sleeves as follows: Continue stocking stitch and pattern across the back piece as far as the marker, move the marker onto the right needle, knit 5, work A.4 across the next 51 stitches (working the same row in the pattern as on the body, i.e., row 2 in A.4), knit 5, move the marker onto the right needle, continue stocking stitch and pattern across the front piece as far as the marker, move the marker onto the right needle, knit 5, continue A.4 across the next 51 stitches, knit 5, move the marker onto the right needle. The pattern is now also established on the middle 51 stitches each sleeve. Now increase on both the body and sleeves, increasing 2 stitches inside the markers on the body so there are 2 stitches between the increases on the body and sleeves. The increased stitches are worked in stocking stitch on both the body and sleeves (i.e., pattern is worked across the middle 89 stitches on the front and back pieces and across the middle 51 stitches on each sleeve). Work as follows: ROUND 1: Knit 2, increase 1 stitch towards the left, continue stocking stitch and pattern until there are 2 stitches left on the back piece before the marker, increase 1 stitch towards the right, knit 2, move the marker onto the right needle, increase 1 stitch towards the left, continue stocking stitch and pattern to the next marker (= sleeve), increase 1 stitch towards the right, move the marker onto the right needle, knit 2, increase 1 stitch towards the left, continue stocking stitch and pattern until there are 2 stitches left on the front piece before the marker, increase 1 stitch towards the right, knit 2, move the marker onto the right needle, increase 1 stitch towards the left continue stocking stitch and pattern to the next marker (= sleeve), increase 1 stitch towards the right, move the marker onto the right needle (8 increased stitches; 1 stitch increased on each side of 2 stitches in each transition between the body and sleeves). ROUND 2: Continue stocking stitch and pattern across all stitches without increasing. AFTER ROUND 2: Work ROUNDS 1 and 2 a total of 7-10-14-15-18-20-22 times (14-20-28-30-36-40-44 rounds worked) = 75-81-89-91-97-101-105 stitches on each sleeve and 111-117-125-135-141-145-149 stitches on the front and back pieces = 372-396-428-452-476-492-508 stitches. The sleeves measure approx. 5-8-11-12-14-15-17 cm. If the piece is folded double at the shoulder, it should measure approx. 18-20-23-24-26-27-29 cm from outermost on the shoulder and down the armhole. If the piece is shorter than this, continue working without further increases to the correct length. Now divide for the body and sleeves. DIVIDE FOR BODY AND SLEEVES When dividing, the markers will end up on the front and back pieces in sizes XS, S, M, XL, XXL and XXXL (in size L, the piece is divided at the markers). Work the first 111-117-125-135-141-145-149 stitches as before (= back piece), knit 1-1-1-0-1-3-5 stitches (belong to the back piece), place the next 73-79-87-91-95-95-95 stitches on a stitch holder for the sleeve, cast on 9-9-9-9-11-13-17 stitches (mid-under the sleeve), work 113-119-127-135-143-151-159 stitches as before (front piece), place the next 73-79-87-91-95-95-95 stitches on a stitch holder for the sleeve, cast on 9-9-9-9-11-13-17 stitches (mid-under the sleeve), knit the last 1-1-1-0-1-3-5 stitches (belong to the back piece). The body and sleeves are finished separately. BODY: = 244-256-272-288-308-328-352 stitches. Continue stocking stitch and pattern in the round; the middle 9 cast-on stitches under each sleeve are worked in A.4x (starting on the same row as the rest of the pattern) the other cast-on stitches are knitted. Work until the piece measures 46-48-50-52-54-56-58 cm from the cast-on edge mid-back, adjusting so the last 3 rounds have neither cables nor lace pattern. Change to circular needle size 3 mm. Work rib in the round (knit 1 and purl 1). AT THE SAME TIME on round 1, increase 4-8-12-16-20-26-32 stitches evenly across the knitted sections (do not increase across the pattern) = 248-264-284-304-328-354-384 stitches. When the rib measures 4 cm, cast off with rib. The jumper measures approx. 50-52-54-56-58-60-62 cm from the cast-on edge mid-back and 52-54-56-58-60-62-64 cm from the top of the shoulder. SLEEVES: Place the 73-79-87-91-95-95-95 sleeve-stitches from one stitch holder onto circular needle size 4.5 mm and knit up 1 stitch in each of the 9-9-9-9-11-13-17 cast-on stitches under the sleeve – read SLEEVE TIP = 82-88-96-100-106-108-112 stitches. Insert a marker-thread before 9 of the new stitches under the sleeve. The round starts by the marker-thread. Continue stocking stitch and the pattern in the round. The middle 9 of the new stitches under the sleeve are worked in A.4x like the body, the other new stitches in stocking stitch. AT THE SAME TIME, when the sleeve measures 1 cm from the division, decrease on each side of A.4x under the sleeve – read DECREASE TIP as follows: Decrease 2 stitches every 10-8-5-4-3-3-3 cm a total of 2-4-7-8-10-10-11 times = 78-80-82-84-86-88-90 stitches. Continue working until the sleeve measures 46-44-42-40-39-39-38 cm from the division, adjusting so the last 3 rounds have neither cables nor lace pattern. Change to double pointed needles size 3 mm. Work rib (knit 1 and purl 1), AT THE SAME TIME increase 2-4-4-4-6-6-6 stitches evenly on the first round across the knitted sections (do not increase across the pattern) = 80-84-86-88-92-94-96 stitches. When the rib measures 4 cm, cast off with rib. The sleeve measures approx. 50-48-46-44-43-43-42 cm from the division and 55-56-57-56-57-58-59 cm from the knitted-up stitches on the shoulder. NECK: Use circular needle size 3 mm. Start from the right side by one shoulder-line and knit up 106-108-112-114-116-118-122 stitches around the neckline, inside 1 stitch; the stitch count should be divisible by 2. Work rib in the round (knit 1 and purl 1) for 4-4-4-4½-4½-5-5 cm. Cast off with rib. |
