Do wykonania pompona należy zamówić 50 g Drops Snow. Mam do zrobienia 2 czapki. Czy taki motek wystarczy na 2 pompony? Ile wełny należy przeznaczyć na 1 dobry pompon?
05.10.2024 - 16:13DROPS Design answered:

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- CHAIN STITCH: If you work outermost on the hook the chain stitch will often be too tight; 1 chain stitch should be as long as 1 treble crochet is wide. CROCHET INFORMATION: Each round of treble crochets begins with 3 chain stitches which do not replace the first treble crochet. The rounds finish with 1 slip stitch in the 3rd chain stitch at the beginning of the round. CROCHET TIP: To get a straight line running down the beginning/the end of the rounds, you can work in the round alternately from the right and wrong side, turning the piece after each round. The smallest hat in the picture is worked like this. The largest hat is worked round and round from the right side; the line at the beginning of the round is then slightly diagonal. COLOUR-CHANGE: To get a neat transition when changing colours, work the slip stitch at the end of the round in the new colour. PATTERN: See diagram A.1. STRIPES: * 2 rounds with colour off white, 2 rounds with colour red *, repeat from *-*. DECREASE TIP: * Make 1 yarn over, insert the hook through the next stitch, pick up the strand and pull it through the stitch, make 1 yarn over and pull the yarn over through the first 2 loops on the hook *, work from *-* 1 more time, make 1 yarn over and pull it through all 3 loops on the hook (1 treble crochet decreased). ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- CHRISTMAS HAT – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The piece is worked in the round, bottom up. A pom pom is worked and fastened to the top. CHRISTMAS HAT: Work 107-111-117-121-125 CHAIN STITCHES – read description above, with hook size 3 mm and colour red DROPS Baby Merino. Form the chain stitches into a ring with 1 slip stitch in the first chain stitch. Read CROCHET INFORMATION and work 1 round with 1 treble crochet in each chain stitch = 106-110-116-120-124 treble crochets + 3 chain stitches. Work A.1 in the round. Repeat A.1 until the piece measures 4 cm. Read CROCHET TIP, work 1 treble crochet in each stitch and work STRIPES – read description above (starting with 2 rounds of colour off white straight after A.1). Read COLOUR-CHANGE and REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! When the piece measures 16-18-20-21-23 cm, decrease 2-6-4-0-4 treble crochets evenly spaced – read DECREASE TIP = 104-104-112-120-120 stitches. When the piece measures 18-20-22-23-25 cm decrease 8 treble crochets evenly spaced. Then decrease 8 treble crochets evenly spaced every 6th round a total of 6-8-8-8-10 times, then every 4th round 6-4-5-6-4 times = 8 stitches – finish after a full stripe. The hat measures approx. 60-65-70-75-80 cm from the cast-on edge. BOTTOM EDGE: On the smallest hat an edge of lobster stitches is worked around the cast-on edge. On the largest hat a round of treble crochets and then a round of lobster stitch is worked around the cast-on edge. 1 ROUND OF LOBSTER STITCH: Using hook size 3 mm and colour red, work 1 lobster stitch in each chain stitch from the cast-on edge to give a thicker edge; lobster stitch is double crochets worked from left to right (i.e. backwards). 1 ROUND OF TREBLE CROCHETS + 1 ROUND OF LOBSTER STITCH: Use hook size 3 mm and colour red, work 1 treble crochet in each stitch from the cast-on edge. On the next round work lobster stitch in each treble crochet; lobster stitch is double crochets worked from left to right (i.e. backwards). POM POM: Make a pom pom, 6-6-7-7-7 cm in diameter, using colour off white DROPS Snow. Fasten the pom pom to the top of the hat. |
