How to work treble crochet and get a straight line running down the beginning/ending of the rounds
It you work round and round from the right side; the line at the beginning of the round is then slightly diagonal (see the sample patch on the right at the beginning of the video).
We also work the piece in stripes and to get a neat transition when changing colours, we work the slip stitch at the end of the round in the new colour.
Each round of treble crochets begins with 3 chain stitches which do not replace the first treble crochet. The rounds finish with 1 slip stitch in the 3rd chain stitch at the beginning of the round.

Bonjour Mme Roger, effectivement, on va procéder de la même façon car ce snood se crochète en rond, mais alternativement sur l'endroit et sur l'envers. Bon crochet!
