Can you please help me elaborate the A6 diagram in words. "Continue by working the first 2 rounds in A.x (A.1/A.2) as follows - see A.6 for how the rounds start and finish: A.1 in total 25-27-30-33-37-40 times in width, finish with A.2" I am getting the pattern either 24 or 26 times. Thank you
10.08.2019 - 16:18DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Hombali, A.6 shows how to start and end the rounds (1 or 3 or 4 ch at the beg of the round and finish with 1 sl st in the first/3rd/4th ch from beg of round); then repeat A.1 (= 6 sts) a total of 25 times (1st size) then work A.2 (= 7 sts) 1 time = there will be a total of 26 repeats bu the last repeat (= A.2) is worked over a different number of sts than the one repeated around. Happy crocheting!

Can you please explain the steps, i am finding it difficult to understand. when i add up all the stitches it sums to 236 instead of 248. Thank you "repeat the increases every row from the right side in total 3-3-4-6-7-9 times, then increase before each marker (= 12 double crochets increased), repeat the increase on every row from the right side in total 4-4-4-2-2-0 times = 248-264-288-316-348-372 double crochets".
05.08.2019 - 22:19DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Hombali, you start with 128 sts, then increase 24 sts a total of 3 times = 24x3= 72 sts = 200 sts - then increase 12 sts a total of 4 times = 12x4= 48 sts = 248 sts. Happy crocheting!

I understand that I am only to do the increases on the right side. When it says to repeat the increase to each right side row, I am getting more stitches on one side of midback than the other. Am I to alternate increasing on the left and right side of the marker to ensure I have the same number of stitches on both sides?
05.06.2019 - 20:37DROPS Design answered:
Dear Linda, when you increase on every other row = on every row from RS you increase a total of 24 sts: 1 st on each side of each marker (= 2 sts in last st before marker, slip marker, 2 sts in next st after marker) and repeat these increase at each of the 12 markers = 24 sts are increased. Then you will increase 1 st before each marker (= 12 sts inc per row) on every row from RS (= on every other row). Happy crocheting!

Bon crochet!

CROCHET INFO: For when the piece is worked back and forth. On every row with treble crochets, the first treble crochet is replaced by 3 chain stitches. INCREASE TIP: Increase 1 treble crochet by working 2 treble crochets in 1 treble crochet/double crochet. DECREASE TIP: Work 1 treble crochet, but wait with the last yarn over and pull through, then work the next treble crochet and pull the last yarn over through all 3 loops on the hook – you have now decreased 1 treble crochet. PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 to A.6. A.6 shows how the pattern starts and finishes when worked in the round. ---------------------------------------------------------- YOKE: The piece is worked top down from mid back. Continue by working the piece back and forth. Every row is worked together at the end of the row with 1 slip stitch in the 3rd chain stitch from the beginning of the row. Turn the piece. READ CROCHET INFO! On the next row from the right side increase as follows: Increase 1 treble crochet on each side of each marker (= 24 treble crochets increased), repeat the increases every row from the right side in total 3-3-4-6-7-9 times, then increase before each marker (= 12 treble crochets increased), repeat the increase on every row from the right side in total 4-4-4-2-2-0 times = 248-264-288-316-348-372 treble crochets. Work the 3rd round in A.x (= round of treble crochet) and increase 18 treble crochets evenly along the round = 175-187-205-223-247-265 treble crochets. Then work the first 3 rounds in A.y, but A.1 is now worked 28-30-33-36-40-43 times in width. The sleeve is worked in the round top down - see A.6 for how the rounds start and finish. Start to work mid under the sleeve as follows: Work 1 double crochet in the 5th chain stitch of the 8 chain stitches worked in the armhole of the body. Work 3 chain stitches (= 1 treble crochet). Continue to work 1 treble crochet in each of the next 3 chain stitches. Then work 1 treble crochet in each treble crochet over the sleeve AT THE SAME TIME decrease 1-3-1-5-3-1 treble crochet/s evenly within these stitches – READ DECREASE TIP, before working 1 treble crochet in each of the 4 remaining chain stitches under the sleeve = 61-61-67-67-73-79 treble crochets. Then repeat the next 2 rounds in A.z until the piece measures approx. 25-25-25-25-25-25 cm – adjust after the last of these 2 rounds. Then work the last 2 rounds in A.z – AT THE SAME TIME on the last round, (= treble crochet round) decrease 6-6-6-6-6-6 treble crochets evenly along the round = 49-49-55-55-61-67 treble crochets. Then work A.y, but A.1 is now worked 7-7-8-8-9-10 times in width. Then work the last round in A.3 and A.5 as follows: A.3 in total 7-7-8-8-9-10 times in width, finish with A.5. Cut and fasten the strand. The sleeve measures approx. 33-33-33-33-33-33 cm. Work the other sleeve in the same way. NECKLINE: Work a border along the neckline, use hook size 4 mm and Cotton Merino. Start mid back from the right side, work trebles in the chain stitches with trebles in them (i.e. do not work in the chain stitches that were shipped) = 124-124-132-136-140-148 treble crochets - AT THE SAME TIME decrease 27-27-29-33-31-33 treble crochets evenly along these treble crochets = 97-97-103-103-109-115 treble crochets.
