Jeg tror det er feil i omgang 5 på bestemorruten. Man kan ikke hoppe over mer enn tre fastmasker for at mønsteret skal gå opp.

GARTER ST (in the round on double pointed needles): * K 1 round and P 1 round *, repeat from *-*. PATTERN: See diagrams A-1 and A-2. Work pattern A-1 in stocking st. DECREASE TIP: Beg 1 st before st with marker, slip 2 sts as if to K tog, K 1, pass the slipped sts over. ---------------------------------------------------------- CHRISTMAS STOCKING: Beg by crochet 2 squares for heel, work the squares tog. Then knit the foot on the Christmas stocking and finally the leg. SQUARE FOR HEEL: Work 6 ch on hook size 3 mm with forest green Karisma and form a ring with 1 sl st in 1st ch. ROUND 1: 1 ch (= 1 dc), work 11 dc in ch-ring and finish with 1 sl st in ch from beg of round = 12 dc. ROUND 2: Switch to off white. Work 4 ch (= 1 tr + 1 ch), * 1 tr in next st, 1 ch *, repeat from *-* the entire round and finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round = 12 tr with 1 ch between each. ROUND 3: 3 ch (= 1 tr), work 2 tr tog in same st (i.e. work 1 tr but wait with last YO and pull through, work next tr and pull last YO through all 3 sts on hook), * 3 ch, 3 tr tog in next ch (i.e. work 1 tr but wait with last YO and pull through, work next tr but wait with last YO and pull through, work last tr but now pull last YO through all 4 sts on hook) *, repeat from *-* the entire round and finish with 3 ch and 1 sl st at the top of first tr-group at beg of round. ROUND 4: Switch to forest green. Work 1 ch, then work 4 dc in every ch-loop the entire round, finish with 1 sl st in ch from beg of round. ROUND 5: Switch to medium grey. 3 ch (= 1 tr), 1 tr + 2 ch + 2 tr in same st, * 2 ch, skip 4 dc, 2 dc in loop before the next 4 dc, 3 ch, skip 4 dc, 2 dc in loop before the next 4 dc, 2 ch, skip 4 dc **, 2 tr + 2 ch + 2 tr in loop before the next 4 dc *, repeat from *-* 2 more times and from *-** one time, finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round. ROUND 6: Work sl sts until first ch-loop in the corner, 3 ch (= 1 tr), 2 tr + 2 ch + 3 tr in ch-loop in the corner, * 3 tr in each of the next 3 ch-loops, 3 tr + 2 ch + 3 tr * in ch-loop in the corner, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times, 3 tr in each of the last 3 ch-loops and finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round. Cut and fasten the threads. Crochet another square. Place the 2 squares on top of each other WS against WS and work them tog on hook size 3 mm with medium grey (work them tog along 2 of the sides): 1 dc in ch-loop in the corner on first square, 1 ch, 1 dc in ch-loop in the corner on the other square, 3 ch, 1 dc between the first 2 tr-groups on the first square, 1 ch, 1 dc between the first 2 tr-groups on the other square, 3 ch, 1 dc between the next 2 tr-groups on the first square, 1 ch, 1 dc between the next 2 tr-groups on the other square etc. Cut and fasten the thread. FOOT: Now knit up along the heel and cast on new sts on top of the Christmas stocking. Beg in the middle of where the 2 squares were crochet tog. Knit up with medium grey as follows: Knit up 1 st in dc worked in the corner on one square, 1 st in ch-loop in the same corner, then knit up 1 st in each of the 15 tr on square and 1 st in ch-loop in the next corner, then cast on 32 new sts on needle (= on top of foot), then knit up 1 st in the corner on the other square, 1 st in each of the 15 tr on the square, 1 st in the corner and 1 st in the 3 ch (you are now back to where you started) = 68 sts. Distribute the sts on double pointed needles so that there are 17 sts on every needle. Insert a marker in the last st on 1st needle and a marker in the first st on 4th needle. P 1 round with wine red, then work in stocking st in the round with stripes as follows: * 3 rounds wine red, 1 round medium grey *, repeat from *-*. AT THE SAME TIME on 3rd round in stocking st (= last round with red) dec 2 sts at every marker – READ DECREASE TIP. Repeat dec every 4th row 2 more times = 56 sts. Continue stripes until piece measures approx. 13 cm from where sts were knitted up – stop after 3 rounds with wine red. Switch to off white and work in GARTER ST - see explanation above. AT THE SAME TIME on 3rd round (i.e. 2nd round K) dec 7 sts by K tog every 7th and 8th st = 49 sts. Dec 7 sts every 4th round 5 more times = 14 sts – NOTE: On every dec round work 1 st less before K 2 tog. Pull 1 thread through the remaining sts, tighten tog and fasten. LEG: Beg mid back on the Christmas stocking between the 2 heel squares (in opposite side of where sts for foot were knitted up) and knit up sts with wine red as follows: Knit up 1 st in the transition mid back, 1 st in ch-loop in the same corner, 1 st in each of the 15 tr on square, 2 sts in the corner, 1 st in the transition before sts on top of foot, 1 st in each of the 32 sts on top of foot, 1 st in the transition after sts on top of foot, 2 sts in ch-loop in the corner on the square, 1 st in each of the 15 tr, 1 st in ch-loop in ch-loop in the corner and 1 st in the transition mid back (you are now back to where you started) = 72 sts. Switch to medium grey, P 1 round, switch back to wine red and work in stocking st according to A-1 until piece measures approx. 22 cm from where sts were knit up – adjust so that 3-4 rounds with wine red have been worked after 1 round with dots. Switch to off white and work pattern A-2 before loosely casting off. CROCHET EDGES: Crochet a fan edge at the top of leg with off white as follows: 1 dc in first st mid back of leg, * skip 2 sts, 10 tr in next st, skip 2 sts, 1 dc in next st *, repeat from *-* the entire round and finish with 1 sl st in dc from beg of round (in stead of 1 dc in next st) = 12 fans. Crochet a lace edge with forest green at the top of leg – work top down in the transition between off white and red as follows: 1 dc in first st, * 4 ch, 1 tr in the first ch worked, skip 3 sts on the Christmas stocking, 1 dc in next st *, repeat from *-* the entire round and finish with 1 sl st in dc from beg of round. Work another edge around the crochet square on the heel and in first ridge around the toe - see picture.
