Dear Ruthanne, you will find at the bottom of the pattern a measurement chart with measurements for each size in cm taken flat from side to side. Compare these to a similar garment he likes the shape to find out the matching size. Happy knitting!

U krijgt nooit precies hetzelfde effect, dus de keuze is aan u. Degrade of print is een goede keuze; degrade verloopt langzaam van kleur en print is wat wilder.

Bonjour Marcel, pour l'arrondi de la manche on rabat de chaque côté tous les 2 rangs (= au début de chaque rang de chaque côté) : 1 fois 3 m, 2 fois 2 m et 1 fois 1 m, puis 2 m de chaque côté jusqu’à ce que la manche mesure 55-56-57-59-60 cm de hauteur totale, puis 1 fois 3 m de chaque côté, rabattez ensuite les mailles restantes. Bon tricot!

Front: Cast on 47-53-56-59-65 sts on smaller needles with natural and P 1 row (wrong side row), then knit rib until the piece measures 6-7-7-7-7 cm. Change to larger needles and stockinette st, adjusting (inc/dec) to 47-51-55-59-63 sts on the first row. When the piece measures 10-11-11-11-11 cm inc 1 st at each side every 8-12-12-12-12 cm a total of 3 times = 53-57-61-65-69 sts. When the piece measures 28-35-37-38-40 cm knit 1 row with grey, 1 row natural, 16 rows grey, 1 row natural, and 1 row grey. Then knit with natural to finished measurements. Change to larger needles and stockinette st, adjusting (inc/dec) to 25-25-25-27-27 sts. When the piece measures 10-13-12-13-13 cm inc 1 st at each side every 5-3.5-3.5-3.5-3 cm a total of 8-10-11-11-12 times = 41-45-47-49-51 sts. When the sleeve measures 37-39-38-39-39 cm knit 1 row with grey, 1 row natural, 16 rows grey, 1 row natural and 1 row grey. Then knit with natural to finished measurements. At the same time when sleeve measures 47-49-49-50-50 cm bind off for sleeve cap at each side every other row: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 2 times and 1 st 1 time, then bind off 2 sts at each side until the piece measures 55-56-57-59-60 cm, then bind off 3 sts at each side 1 time. Neckband: Pick up and knit approx. 44-50 on smaller needles with natural and knit 4 rows stockinette st, then bind off as follows: *bind off 3 sts, yo, bind off yo*, repeat from *-* until all sts are bound off. Sew left shoulder and up neckband. Sew in sleeves. Sew sleeve and side seams using edge sts as a seam allowance. ----------------------------------------------- HAT: Sizes: (S/M) L/XL To fit head circumference: 54/56 - 58/60 cm / 21"/22" - 22½"/23½". Materials: DROPS ALPACA from Garnstudio (100) 100 gr nr 0501 light grey (100) 100 gr nr 0506 charcoal grey DROPS 4 mm double-pointed needles, or size needed to obtain correct gauge. Gauge: 19 sts x 25 rows in stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm. Rib: *K 2, P 2*, repeat from *-*. Hat: Cast on (116) 128 sts on double-pointed needles with 1 strand of each color (=2 strands); join and place a marker at the join. Knit rib for (26) 28 cm. Then K 2 tog over all sts for 2 rows, then cut yarn and pull through the remaining sts, pull tight and fasten. |
