Bon tricot!

Hi, I am trying to knit this shawl but i am getting stuck on the second half of row 9 (i.e. using the row 7 instructions and row 3 of the A2 diagram). The A2 diagram key just says to double yo and then knit but doesn't have any decreases. Should it instead be knit 2 together, double yo and then continue? Grateful if you can amend or instead let me know how A2 on row 9 should be worked. Thanks, Kate
13.03.2022 - 21:06DROPS Design answered:
Dear Kate, you decrease after the double YO: slip 1 st as if to K, K 1, psso. You can see this at the end of the instructions for this symbol in the A2 diagram key. Happy knitting!

11.08.2021 - 22:22DROPS Design answered:
Hei Elisabeth.

Hej Ida. Varv 7 stickas såhär: 1 rm, 1 omslag, A.1 (= 6 m), 1 omslag, 2 m (=mitt-m), 1 omslag, A.2 (= 6 m), 1 omslag, 1 rm. = 20 m. Mvh DROPS Design

Kuvan huivi näyttää paksummilla kuin tekeleeni, pitääkö tehdä kaksinkertaisella langalla?
06.11.2019 - 15:25DROPS Design answered:
Huivi neulotaan yksinkertaisella langalla. Oletko tarkistanut neuletiheyden?

I would like to knit the DROPS Design Pattern Calgary # 0-1177 in a different yarn that I have on hand, but I question the amount of yarn called for in the pattern, which is 100 grams for the whole shawl. I feel that this must be a typing error and so I am writing to ask you what is the correct amount of yarn needed. Many thanks A.M.
26.07.2019 - 17:15DROPS Design answered:
Dear Agnes, this shawl is from DROPS Brushed Alpaca Silk, which is very lightweight yarn. Is is produced in 25g balls, 140 metres each. Thats mean 100 : 25 = 4 balls = 560 metres of fluffy yarn with needles 5,5mm and this is enough for this shawl :-). Happy knitting!
