Hello! Please help me. So I did one whole M1. And I'm gonna repeat it. How to repeat M1B? I mean for example first row: 3 garter sts M1A(1 st) M1B(I have 98 sts so I have to make M1B 7 times?)then M1C(0 st) middle st then M1A(1 st) then again 98 sts for M1B then M1C(0 st) and 3 garter st. I thought with every repeat of M1 we add only one extra M1B. I have enough sts to do two extra M1B. Is this correct? Thank you for your help!!
12.11.2014 - 14:58DROPS Design answered:
Dear Anna, this looks correct, every time you haver worked M1 in height, you will have enough sts to work 2 more repetitions of diagram in width between M1A and M1C. Happy knitting!

28.05.2014 - 16:47DROPS Design answered:

Also: 3 + 1 + 70 + 0 + 1 + 1 + 70 + 0 + 3 = 149 M. Gutes Gelingen!

Is the first row in M1A yarn over, knit, yarn over? Then begin M1B? Does M1B end with the second yarn over? As M1B is repeated that would make two yarn overs in a row, is that correct?
13.07.2013 - 02:16DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Wood, 1st row M.1, M.1A = YO, K1, each repeat of M.1B starts with 1 yo and ends with K1, last repeat will end with 1yo, then work M.1C = K1, YO. Happy knitting!

Work first row as follows (= RS): 3 GARTER STS - see above - 1 YO, 1 garter st, 1 YO and 3 garter sts = 9 sts. Continue back and forth in garter st AT THE SAME TIME inc 4 sts on every other row - See INCREASING TIP! Continue as follows (from RS): 3 garter sts, M.1A, M.1B on the next 70 sts, M.1C, 1 stockinette st (= middle st), M.1A, M.1B on the next 70 sts, M.1C and 3 garter sts. Now continue in garter st on all sts, AT THE SAME TIME inc 4 sts on every other row as before. Continue until there are approx 11 cm / 4½" garter st after M.1 and bind off LOOSELY with 2 strands. |
