I’m missing something the pattern is 48 sts repeat but that doesn’t go evenly into 172 sts?? So what am I doing wrong?? Thank you.

Dear Joanne, the charts are worked as follows in the row: 6 sts of M.2, M.1, 6-22-28 (36-42) sts of M.2, M.1, 6 sts of M.2, 6 sts of M.2, M.1, 6-22-28 (36-42) sts of M.2, M.1, 6 sts of M.2. Which means you have: 6+19 (M.1)+36+19+6+6+19+36+19+6 = 172 stitches. Happy knitting!

Which pieces form the shoulder seam on this sweater? The front portion at 42 cms with the back portion at 44 cms (for size 2 years)? Also, please translate to English the other questions and answers. Thanks

Dear Mary, you will get the shoulder under each piece Front piece and Back piece after you have cast off stitches for armhole = in size 2 years, you will have 21 stitches for each shoulder. Happy knitting!

Riding snowman baby sweater 4-23. How do the shoulder seams match up front to back? I do not know which parts to sew together as the shoulder seams. Does the portion of the front piece that ends at 42 cm match up with the part of the back piece that ends at 44 cm? Then the front piece that is from 42 to 44 cm is part of the neckline ? Also, please provide the English translation for all the other questions posted on this pattern. Surprised these were not provided translated.
28.01.2021 - 03:57DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mary, shoulders are the remaining stitches you will cast off when front and back piece measure both 33-35-39 (44-50) cm, ie after you have cast off and decreased for neck. Can't see the 42 cm you are talking about, maybe you can tell us where you found them? We are unfortunately not able to translate every comment/question/answer, using an online translator may help you - but you are welcome to continue asking your questions there. Happy knitting!

Bonjour.

Bon tricot!
