Crochet: Lantern

In this DROPS video we show how to work a lantern.
Ch 6 and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: READ CROCHET INFO 1. Work 8 sc in ch-ring.
ROUND 2: Work 2 sc in every sc the entire round = 16 sc.
ROUND 3: ch 1, * 2 sc in first sc, 1 sc in next sc *. Repeat from *-* the entire round = 24 sc.
ROUND 4: Work as 3rd round but work 1 sc more between every time working 2 sc in 1 sc = 32 sc.
Continue like this until a circle that is 1 cm / 3/8'' less than the base of the jar has been worked. Make sure no of sts is divisible by 4.
Then work 1 sc in every sc for 2 or 3 rounds up the side at the bottom of jar.
Now work tr-groups as follows:
ROUND 1: ch 4 and 3 tr in same sc, * skip 3 sc, in next sc work 4 tr *, repeat from *-* the entire round and finish with 1 sl st in 4th ch from beg of round.
ROUND 2: Work sl sts over first tr-group, ch 4, 3 tr between 1st and 2nd tr-group from previous round. Then work 4 tr between every tr-group from previous round, finish with 1 sl st in 4th ch from beg of round.
Repeat round 2 until 1,5 cm/½" remain from top edge on jar.
EDGE:
Work an edge at the top as follows: * ch 4, 4 tr in first ch, 1 sc between the next 2 tr-groups *. Repeat from *-* the entire round. Finish with 1 sl st in first ch on round. Thread a silk ribbon between the tr-groups on next to last round and tie a bow.
